"Okay, we're gonna have a romantic picnic in the kitchen."

[She grins.]

"I’d love to!"

[ He hums, and then blinks, before shaking his head and kissing her forehead in return. ]

"I thought I'd treat you to a picnic, if you'd want to, of course."

[She blushed a little, walking over to him and kissing his cheek.]

"So, whatcha doing here? I mean I love that you’re here but why?"

[ He turns to greet her, a wide smile forming on his face when he sees her. ] "Hey babe!"

"You look pretty." [ She always did though. ]

[She grabbed a blue dress one with flowers on it and threw it on. She pulled her hair into her red ribbons and walked out of her room, down the stairs and into the living room.]

"I’m back!!"

[ Once she's gone, he frowns a bit and takes a glance around the room. Maybe he can just bolt for it and leave a note and-- ]

[ He mentally slapped himself. No, no; he's not a coward.

"Come in, I’m gonna go change."

[ Oh you've got to be kidding me.

--Looks away for a moment and reaches up to rub the back of his neck. ]

“Well—” [ He can't tell her the exact reason he's here, that'd ruin everything. ]

[ Laughs lightly and looks back to her. ] "To see you, obviously."

[Her blush deepened at Alfred’s rambling. In her shock, her towel almost slipped off her body, but she caught just in time.]

"Wh-what are you doing here?!"

[ A bright smile graces his features when the door opens, because yes, his girlfriend is home so he wouldn't have to look like a kicked puppy going home - but his smile soon faded when he saw she was covered with only a towel; his eyes widened, and a blush surely was on his cheeks now.

She's almost in her birthday suit. [ Real mature Alfred. ] ] “Elle?”

[ He's grins sheepishly. ] "Ahh, sorry I didn't think-- You'd like be--" [ Now he's making a fool of himself. ]

"Hey beautiful---"

[She was in the shower when she suddenly heard a knock on her front door. Rinsing out the conditioner, she wrapped her towel around her naked form which happened to have Ariel on it. 

Walking out into the living room where her front door was and made sure her towel was secure around her body, she opened the door. ]

"Alfred?!"

[ He's nervous as can be and his palms are sweating because of it, so he has to wipe them off on his pants. He bites down on his bottom lip and chews on it for a moment in thought and wonders if this is really worth going through with, because what if she embarrasses him by saying no, and then he's humiliated--does he laugh it off and throw his arms up and say that it was just a joke anyway, that he was kidding, even though, in reality, he wasn't?

He sighs. ] "Don't be a chicken, Alfred. Be a man."

[ He takes in a deep breath then and reaches up to knock on her door, and once a few seconds pass he rings the doorbell; once, twice and three times. Just to be sure.

No backing out of this now. Not that he would want to anyway, it's just his nerves-- oh whatever. ]
