My Current obsesions In One doodle

I’ve kinda been in a weird Nightwing, ROTTMNT, and Sonic loop lately. Really wanted to draw them. Ugh, I'm so excited for the Knuckles series and the movie this year. I can't wait to see Tails (he's my favorite character, ngl😭). And I recently watched the ROTTMNT series and movie, and omg, can't get them out of my head. I love leo so mcuh😭

maturing is realizing that the creator of miraculous ladybug didn't make marinette whitepassing to provide representation for mixed people who look "whiter"

they did it because of racism💀

in these pictures you can see her early designs, she even had tanner skin

the process was gradual. slowly but surely they made her more and more white passing and even whitewashed the environment around her. the house she was in had more chinese influence, she lived in a district of paris known to be ethnically diverse and art influenced

the issue isn't her not being "asian enough". the issue is that those decisions to make her less asian were made by WHITE MEN.

my favorite arc in sonic idw is the metal virus arc because of how it explores sonic's guilt ridden and broken mental state during the event

idw sonic is a dude with emotions as he should be because well. hes a teenager !! he has gotten genuinely pissed a few times and evan stanley also captures his expressiveness phenomenally

i also like that during the metal virus arc ian flynn allows sonic to just. stop for a second and acknowledge his negative emotions and this happens twice i think? i think this little guy should be allowed to sit with his inner demons for a while sometimes, instead of constantly repressing them. he's not a robot and individuals NEED to ruminate in unpleasant feelings for a bit to let it happen, otherwise you wont actually be confronting your problems. this is a whoolee another interesting topic bcz i could talk about how this blue little shit bottles up his negative emotions because (MAYBE. this is a theory) he cant fathom being in need of support instead of supporting others GGHHHFFFF BRAINNN im so smart yall/j

So the IDW Sonic comics huh?

I drew this after issue 24's heartbreaking reveal, but the visuals in 25 inspired me to put the eyes in the back. I won't get into it much but Sonic made a decision, thinking he was in the right, and has suffered every day since then. And there's really people out there claiming he acts like it's no big deal when you can see by each issue how he's slowly losing his grip on the situation and his facade of "I can fix this" is cracking. He desperately needs a break.

Farah from Gaza and her family had their life turned upside down by the occupation. Their homes were destroyed, and her father’s shop— their only source of income, was bombed as well.

Farah was studying at Al-Azhar University, but that was bombed and destroyed as well. Farah, her brother, and her sister have all had their education cut short due to the occupation.

Every day, the situation gets more urgent— so let’s put our efforts into directly helping the evacuation of Farah and her family. Egyptian border fees cost about $7000 per person to leave Gaza, not counting the living expenses when they get there. So,

ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - ROUND 2!! On the 16th and 23rd of March, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Operation Olive Branch and Project Watermelon.

This round's roster is very lucky to include notable webcomic artists like explodikid, Graveweaver, Curryuku and Speremint who respectively create Covenant, I'm The Grim Reaper, Not So Shoujo Love Story and Brimstone and Roses on WEBTOON. We also have Onstamonsta, an artist, streamer and Kiryu fan who Drawfee fans might recognise and the exceptionally talented Jessie Lam!

Last fundraising event was a great success, and I hope some of you might show up for this next round of streams. All money will be donated directly to Palestinian escape funds as the situation of Rafah is becoming exponentially worse (and if you'd like to donate directly, here's a link to a spreadsheet of over 750!)

When the anti "LGBT propaganda" law passed in Russia, all of you were going insane and cared. Give Georgia the same energy. If you can have sympathy for our oppressors on the basis of them being queer, you should keep the same energy for us, if not more.

If this law passes, every Georgian queer person I know is so severely fucked, myself included. If you make jokes about "being illegal in several countries" you better fucking care about the countries you're apparently illegal in, or going to be illegal in.

Make sure to spread this around. This is important.
