for real tho, the thing that i feel like ppl arent realizing/talking abt, at least the thing for me, is that it was never about the website. like, do i like tumblr? sure, it mostly does what i want in a familiar, vaguely-easy-to-use way. but thats only bc ive been here 13 years and have the internet version of toxoplasmosis keeping me docile and trusting of capitalist corporations. tumblr could Site Of Theseus itself into a completely different beast and id still be coming back day after day.

its not the site that keeps me coming back, its the people. and i dont just mean my friends, or my Beloved Mutuals™, or my favourite blogs i follow. i mean the whole community. every person who posts in a tag i follow, or makes a poll i vote in, or shares their beautiful artwork. every random user who makes a post that ends up going viral. everyone who makes and reblogs Destiel News Alerts. everyone who logs on and agrees to Commit To The Bit until the bitter end. thats why i love this hellsite so much.

thats also why, when ppl ask "where are you going next?", i really dont have an answer for them. i want to say "wherever my friends go", but theres no telling where thatll be. i might be able to find some, or most of, or maybe even all of my mutuals/friends on some other site, but theres no guarantee that im going to find this community. that's what im going to miss when this site dies. not the UI, or the branding, or the crabs. not tumblr.com. im going to miss us.

I- I cannot express how grateful I am, personally, that a silly little fusion character of two silly train men, has inspired you so much. That's so cool for me to hear when at most, all I want when I draw if for others to enjoy what I create. And that you created more from that idea? I'll cry?

This is extra true for Coop who is very much a passion idea from @seitosokusha and I. A funny thought we couldn't let go, and has seen more popularity then we could have ever imagined. I have so many screenshots of my tumblr stats page going WILD from his creation, I still can't believe it to this day. And so many more fusion ideas from it.

In the end, Thank You as well. Every time we post Coop, people come out of the depths to show their love for him again and again. We're not active in the community, both of us are too busy for that, but here everyone is supporting them and us all the way.

Coop deserves to be there cuz tbh its grody as fuck to call conjoined twins a 'fusion'. Being cojoined is a real thing lol. Anyways Coop wins in my heart.

I really had no idea when I first made the silly art post that the poll options were submissions. XD Otherwise, I'm not sure how the Conjoined AU ended up with the other fusions either? perhaps that's just where they thought it would fit best...

#When i first saw the poll i was doing the casual tumblr looking and lost my mind #Coop??? the first fusion baby not there? SLANDER? #But knowing the internet I never wanted to make it more than a silly little thing #Some of the other polls let me find some other AUs I wasnt aware of #Submas community is kinda wild where i swear most of the fandom is in like 3-5 discords and I'm not in them to know #Like theres someone who hosts a drawpile similar thing and I never hear about it til its long over #and im too internet old to do anything but laugh at some of the rules.
