Last night I had a dream I got drunk and spent hours chasing after a good view of the moon to get a picture. During this adventure I ran from the cops, nearly got into a fight with a random driver when I walked between cars stuck in traffic, lost a very expensive drone several times, found myself stuck in a store, screamed at the clouds, and finally, when I got a good view of the moon, I realized my camera lense was filthy and after cleaning it, I couldn't get it to focus properly on the moon.

Okay, but I wanna see a superhero story where the guy is absolute shit about covering his identity up, and before long it’s NOT a secret to anyone… but the hero.  And like, his entire office/school/neighbourhood puts all the real work into keeping his identity secret from the world at large while simultaneously working together to make sure the hero doesn’t know they’re doing it. “Man, that guy looks just like The Masked Protector.”

“Shut it!”

“No, really, look… he’s the right height, skin tone, eye color, and he’s even got that–” “NO, REALLY, SHUT IT.”

“I’m just saying–”

“Look, Ralph has saved the planet twice, and this town like fifteen times.  He needs to be able to take off his mask and have a normal life.  If he figures out we all know, he won’t be able to relax.  So Shut.  The Fuck.  Up.”

….. “Oh, shit, it’s about to come over the radio that there’s a bank robbery.  Can someone send Ralph for coffee?”

“Hey, Jolene, it’s Marsha.  Look, my house caught fire and Ralph is over here in costume putting it out while I wait for the fire department.  I know you guys had a date tonight….”

“Thanks, Marsha.  I’ll call him and tell him I’m running late so he doesn’t stress about it.”

“Hey, let’s do a Masked Protector Cosplay Contest.”

“That’s a little on the nose, don’t you think?”

“Well, Ralph hasn’t updated his costume since the mid eighties.  I’ve hired a couple of designers to come up with some new designs, maybe it will give him some inspiration…”

“How the hell did you manage to knock over the whole table?”

“Oh, Ralph needed a distraction so he could {finger quotes} ‘slip away unnoticed’.”

“God, it was a disaster.  Me and Ralph were in the elevator when the bad guy shut off the power.  I had to fake a seizure so Ralph could get away.”

”Kids, you can’t play on the fire escape.  How’s Ralph going to fly out his window with you sitting RIGHT THERE?”

“Jolene, what’s wrong?” “I was talking to Ralph about maybe spicing things up in the bedroom.  Maybe some role play.  I wanted to do him in the costume, just once, y’know?” “Uh-oh… did he catch on?”

I used to be super into miraculous ladybug but I got incredibly frustrated the show so I just stopped watching and have since only followed updates through the fandom.

Anyway here's how I view the show through my stubborn head canons.

Nathalie cares deeply for Adrien, and after his mom died she wanted to be a comforting hand, but Gabriel told her she couldn't as he felt it'd be disrespectful to his wife. Ever since Nathalie has tried locking away both her affection for Adrien and her frustrations with Gabriel

Marinette has ADHD, and she has meds for it, but she really struggles with taking them, not only because of forgetfulness, but they also impact how well she does in fights in a negative way. This causes a lot of internal conflict, because on one hand she'd like to get things done as planned in her personal life, but on the other, an entire country is counting on her to protect them.

Marinette is crazy good at recognizing patterns. Not just in a fashion sense, but in video games she beats everyone because she just remembers what button combos will work best agasint others. Because of this, she's really good at maths, but because she doesn't like maths, she struggles to focus on those assignments and usually gets a lower grade than she could.

Nino and Alya make music videos for fun. Idk this one is just cute to me.

Chloe gets redemption and truly tries to earn the forgiveness of everyone she's upset. At first, she just tries buying everyone stuff, but after a talk about how you can't just buy people's opinions, she takes the time to learn about the people around her and ends up fiercely protective of her friends.

The whole weredad scenario ends with Mari sheepishly confessing that she did not actually have a crush on Chat, she just wanted an excuse, so after that everytime Chat sees Tom, they end up sharing the most powerful puns in their artillery, much to Marinettes endless regret.
