She clung to Vi and sought comfort with her in the moment. What more should there be?

And we see how that event has traumatized her. It’s why she is so attached to Vi. Why she feels so scared and angry when she is left behind. It is why she leaps into Silco’s arms.

I love Arcane but it was and is so upsetting to see so many people saying things like "Jinx was there from the beginning! She was a psycho from the start!" And their proof is that Powder didn't cry when her parents were dead like Vi did.

Do you hear yourselves? You're demonising a young child for not reacting to the death of her parents in the "correct" way. It could've been a delayed reaction. It could've been she didn't understand what was happening. It could've been that she was in shock. And yet the first thing you jump to is that she was a heartless psycho?

That's the unfortunate side effect of writing traumatised characters like Jinx. Everyone becomes a psychologist and diagnoses her with several very demonised mental illnesses because "Well she's murderous and crazy!" and just kinda throw around a lot of albeist terms and ideas.

Yet how they act to each other speaks volumes. The fact that they can slip into a deadly version of a childhood game speaks volumes about what there relationship was and is.

Why does Vi have a toned physique despite often times going hungry in prison but Jinx is so skinny despite clearly having gone through training? Is she malnourished?

I don’t think Vi was ever malnourished in Stillwater. We see the food that is served there when Caitlyn is going to interrogate the guy Jinx shot. And while it doesn't look appetizing, it looks nutritious.

Vi focused a lot more on building muscle. She is an up close fighter relying on her fists to do the talking, with nothing better to do in prison than work out.

Jinx, for how fit she is, never focused on building muscle. Her free time was most likely spent working on projects not lift weights. I don't think she is malnourished, Silco would make sure she always has food. I can see her forgetting to eat, kind of like Jayce. on the heist to Jayce's apartment we see how quickly she forgets about the sandwich she is eating to focus on the gemstones.

There probably some genetic factors as well. Vi is taller than Jinx by about half a foot and is broader. Jinx on the other hand is rather slender.

On a meta level it’s part of their character design to show how they fight. Vi is tough and up close punching. Not so much about speed but brute force. Jinx is fast and nimble, able to dodge strikes.
