Hello I send you a few asks but you never answered them 🥺 I hope you can answer this one cause it's important to me. My mom had a complicated birth when having me. And the birth time she says and the hospital say doesn't match. When I calculate my natal chart with the time she says I'm a Cancer venus and when I use the time the hospital says I'm a leo venus.Since my venus is in the 4th I feel like both fit somehow. What are typical characteristics for cancer venus /leo venus?

Hello! When it comes to not answering question sit might be one of the three following cases: 1. it was against the rules (aka I deleted it). 2. I haven't gotten to answer it yet. 3. It's still in my drafts! That's usually the case for requests of bigger or small astro posts instead of answering individual questions about birth chart placements. And this is nothing personal btw, I just think it's good to explain it for everyone who might come across this ask!

🌞🌘 Differences between Cancer and Leo Venus:

Disclaimer: please consider other apsects to Venus and placements in general that can influence your Venus signs expression. I think it's best to focus on the differences when you stand between two placements! Before we get into it though, I think it's worth mentioning that Leo and Cancer are both very similar in my opinion, they do have their differences but as the signs being ruled by the two luminaries I think they can find a lot of common ground (especially in values I believe) though their approaches might be different. -> Leo Venus takes up the room more than Cancer Venus with their actions: the 4th house wil soften this effect, but regardless, Leo Venus has a clear way of asserting themself in social situations/circles. They do not need to talk all the time or be what people think often of as 'typical extroverted', but they can asster themself and become a focal point by their words/presence/ideas/suggestions/role they play more so than a Cancer Venus. Often this happens subconsciously, Leo here wants to be an active part of the pride once in a while or they feel left out (like a lion awakening from their 18 hour sleep every day) and they usually enjoy social gatherings as a way to refill their energy by using the opportunity to shine. Cancer Venus on the other hand is very subtle in the role they take in in a group. They manage the emotional bond and comfort level of everyone and between them and other people, thus they really enjoy a routine or specific rituals with friends, these are opportunities to give comfort and get comforted. They also more the type to prefer staying at home/a comfortable and familiar space. This doesn't mean they don't enjoy going out but they're usually not as experimental as Leo Venus, because Leo Venus can be more of a thrill seeker sometimes. -> Leo Venus has generally a higher demand to do stuff together out there in the world, as a fire Venus experiencing life together becomes a top priority -> It is true that Leo Venus is more prone to show a partner off, Cancer is more about the discretion of a partner, while Leo Venus will be not so discret with certain (definitely not all) parts of their partner - both talk respectfully equally about the actual connection/relationship dynamic, but when it comes to talking about solely the partner Leo Venus is more prone to that -> Cancer Venus loves taking a connection to a new level of security and comfort, they can get really excited the more they actually get a healthy rythm between them and their partner/friend, especially creating a safe space together/zone of comfort (or even physical home). Therefore they can be prone to be 'stuck in a rut', because they enjoy predictability - it's easier to build on predictability than on the unfamiliar and everchanging. Leo Venus on the other hand can deal better with physical changes as long as feelings od devotion and admiration for the other stay (visibly) the same. Individuality has to be respected, both have to engage playfully with the other and reciprocate feelings of admiration for the others sense of self. -> Leo Venus connections are marked by the vitality of the sun: they are more bold and expressive, they don't mind to be seen with friends and partners as 'that type of people', they enjoy/want their connections to have some sort of trademark, while Cancer Venus enjoys being on the lowkey and letting people see the closeness and care of their connections either behind close doors, or by unspoken bonds and acts of service, simply 'knowing' the other (but to be fair, both Venus signs are pretty dramatic in nature though imo). Generally speaking though a Cancer Venus is more closeted with their affection/loving side, Leo Venus is typically more the one who wants or even needs some sort of pda from their partner (often times to set a mark/set a standpoint)
