Her question brought on a devious smirk and he leaned in slightly. “That or makes it sound like you have another preference.”
Tumblr media
“Honestly? My preference is multiple kisses. In multiple spots. Maybe some teeth too,” Jo chewed her lip a bit. She was much more forward with him, by now it felt natural.

“Hmm,” he pulled at her waist to pull her into him. “Well, I was considering it myself.”
Tumblr media
That was enough to do it for her. The little pull was enough to be reminded of the power he had over her body. “And was that kiss landing on my lips or?”

“If I’m not getting kisses from strangers who’s going to kiss me?” She asked with a little smile and a tilt to her head.

“I thought it was the big house and my dog that drew you in.” Julian couldn’t help but thrive in the admiration he received from Jo. The way that she praised him for the things that mattered most to him. He knew he was good looking but he gained his respect for his skill and he liked that being recognized. Amusement shone in his eyes as she gripped his shirt, the small sign of desperation before the request. “I was thinking of having another round first,” he suggested only to tease her. He himself more than ready to go back.
“Well, yeah, it was the dog, you’re right,” she played, nodding as if in admission. In a lot of ways, she looked up to Julian. He was so put together, so intelligent, accomplished. Their fields weren’t the same entirely, but they intersected. She admired him, knew part of what it took to end up where he was. “You’re just trying to torture me,” she whined, shaking her head. “And not in the fun way,” she tacked on with a little amused smirk.

“No, they do not,” a little smirk followed his response. “Though you can be assured that if it weren’t for your intellect being a part of you, I never would have pursued you and made you mine.” The words weren’t just for her but the truth. For a night night fling he didn’t give a damn about the girl and her thoughts. But he needed more for someone he considered a companion. While her status was lower than preferred, Jo had many other aspects he required. “We’re not going to the hotel tonight. I have the house to myself tonight and I have some things in my room that I am very eager to try with you. Things that you’re not used to.”
He knew his words would mean something to her and they did. At times she feared the only reason she was special to him because she was the next girl willing to submit this way. But then he’d say one thing and make her feel everything. “I was first attracted to your intellect,” she admitted quietly. His explanation brought some nerves, but mostly excitement. She liked being in his home, that in itself she was eager about. She didn’t hide her smile, fingers gripping onto his shirt. “Can we go now?” She knew he wouldn’t give her more information beforehand, and she was eager to know. “Please?”

“I’m guessing none of those things have anything to do with my intellect,” she bit her lip, trying to keep herself from smiling too wide at just a kiss. He made her feel so many things, but the butterflies didn’t feel fitting for the moment even if they still fluttered for him. Her hand moved down his chest, wanting the contact. She never felt entirely comfortable being the one touching him, but she craved him too much to care in that moment. “You always make it worth it, but you have me very intrigued, Mr. Boyce.”
jo-kingston:
She exhaled in a way that spoke to the desire she felt at his touch. Maybe a few months ago she would’ve let a little moan slip, but now that would’ve felt performative. Nothing needed to be over the top. He knew her sounds. And he knew her to make her reactions eccentric. “But not tonight,” she managed to quip with a little smirk. She savored the kiss, keeping her eyes closed a beat longer to soak in the feeling. “I never do have a feeling being your good girl, do I?” She asked, finishing off the drink in front of her as if to prove that much to him.
He loved seeing her reactions to the smallest touch. The power he had with just a finger. He craved that power. She gave him what he needed. That total control so utterly addicting. He liked the way that she let him mold her to what he had hoped her to be. “There are many things I would like,” he playfully contradicted giving her another quick kiss before they parted. “No, you don’t. And I promise that tonight I will make it worth it.” After he got what he needed.

“You seem to be doing good with the latter for the most part,” she chuckled. She wouldn’t have really believed she was casually saying something like that about herself a year ago. But even if she spoke it like a joke, it was entirely true. She felt like a different person now. And maybe that should have scared her, but it didn’t. She felt a rush in just a glance from him, and she bottled feelings like that up enough to make her feel more whole than she ever had before him. Her brows rose and she took a larger sip, trying to fight the urge to grimace at the taste, but not entirely successful. “I trust you more than anyone.” She spoke the words quietly. They were true. She felt like she knew they shouldn’t have been… but she did. She knew what to expect from him, knew where she stood. There were no surprises. He had expectations and if she met them, he was there.

“I’m well-practiced. All though,” he brought a hand up his thumb tracing her lips. “There are times I do love the things that come out of your mouth.” While maybe the things they did were not unique to what he did with other women, Jo was unique to him. She belonged to him and so it was his responsibility to care for her. To him the responsibility wasn’t simply an obligation. It was a choice to have someone matter. She did matter to him, but he was selfish and his needs were always going to come first with them. But her next words were important to him. He needed it. He rewarded her with a slow gentle kiss. “Then you’ll have no problem being a good girl for me tonight.”

“Hmm,” he pretended to consider her words. “That just sounds like a living hell. Much easier to just throw money at someone to shut them up. Or preoccupy their mouths in other ways.” He looked down at her lips as if on cue. “It involves something very fun for the both of us. Though I think it may take couple more drinks and you trusting me first.” He wasn’t in the mood for tame. He needed a release. Usually he used his paid women for that.

“Mmm, well I tried to offer a solution to that but you didn’t seem to like that one,” he reminded her, the comment only partly playful. “But this,” he nodded to the drink. “Will catch you up to where I am a lot faster. I am not in the mood for a wine kind of night.”
Tumblr media
“Have you ever heard that sometimes women don’t want a solution, they just want you to listen to them bitch?” Jo half-teased, hint of a smile poking up. “Mmm,” she nodded in understanding, bringing her elbow up to rest on the table, propping her head on her hand. “What does a bourbon kind of mood entail?” She wondered it in a number of ways. She wanted to understand him better. To know why he was more drunk than he’d normally be, what happened, what was going on in his mind. But she wasn’t naive enough to think she’d get that.

Julian knew Jo more than people would probably guess. He knew what she wanted a craved from an intimate relationship. Sometimes he gave it to her and sometimes he didn’t. He wasn’t in the mood to play doting tonight. “That is just what quality tastes like. Unlike those cheap watered down beers you are used to.”
Tumblr media
Julian put on a little smile and nodded. “I think this quality probably costs an entire week’s salary for me,” she tilted her head to the side, looking up at him. “I like when you splurge on wine more.” The sentiment was true, but she sort of said it for him. She knew he liked when she indulged, when he was able to take care of her in a way she couldn’t on her own.

“I am telling you now that I am not fit for a conversation. So you should just join me,” he slid a drink over.

“Okay,” Jo nodded quietly. She was craving him; wanting that conversation, but she’d take whatever he would offer, so she took a sip, face contorting a bit. “Little strong,” she chuckled gently and took another sip.
