Hace algunas semanas atrás hablamos con algunos amigos de divertirnos en el matrimonio y salió el Top Ten de SportsCenter. Con opiniones divididas a mi consideración si es divertido así que les dejo el Too Ten de Selah: 1. En las mañanas cuando se despierta empieza a decir papá hasta que la saco de su cuna. Pero intencionalmente le habla a la cámara y al monitor. 2. Cuando terminamos de cenar con @maffi_acevedo le cantamos una canción de Space Jam/Bring It On: “Are you ready?” para llevarla a bañar. 3. Disfruta el mango al igual que a mi y ahora tendremos que tener unos meses sin temporada de mango. 4. En las mañana las cuando la traigo a la cama de las primeras cosas que hace es darle un abrazo a su mamá. 5. Le encanta treparse pero sobre todo le encanta ir a cada liberar y empezar a sacar todos los libros. Con @maffi_acevedo decimos que los está ordenando. 6. Su serie favorita es “The Last Dance”. Sólo tuve que pasar un momento explicando cómo Rodman no es una buena influencia. 7. Su mamá le enseñó la siguiente canción: “Así chapotean los Grotewold Acevedo” en ese momento la diversión del baño toma un nuevo nivel. 8. El confinamiento (a.k.a. “cuarentena”) me ha dado la bendición de trabajar desde casa y muy dulcemente cuando dejo la puerta de la oficina llega gateando para buscarme y pedirme que juguemos y le ponga atención. 9. En los servicios en línea se disfruta el tiempo de alabanza y se para para aplaudir. Es sumamente musical y en todo lo que puede hacer percusión se pone a hacer sonidos. Ya quiero regalarle una batería. 10. Dentro de las cosas que más disfruta son los libros y las fotos. Le compramos un pequeño playground y yo le digo que se cree Shaq porque siempre estar arrancando el aro. 11. Es tan linda como su mamá y determinada cómo su papá. La amamos y estamos con gran gozo por el regalo que es a nuestra vida. Ya sabe decir que no, estamos en proceso que aprenda a decir que si. Se emociona con la aventura, se refugia en los abrazos de su mamá, le hace ojitos a su papá y todas las noches oramos porque sea llena del Espíritu Santo. So many adventures not enough pictures to capture them all. Todavía recuerdo la celebración de cumpleaños del primer año donde te conocí. No es la segunda foto; esa primera vez estabas cenando con unos amigos en Cayalá y yo estaba predicando en unos 15 años en otro restaurante de Cayalá. Ahora cada año tengo el privilegio de celebrar tu vida, dar gracias a Dios porque me permite crecer junto con mi mejor amiga e ir a desayunar. En mi corazón el anhelo por encontrar el favor del Padre jamas pudo dimensionar la mujer de Dios que eres, en la madre espiritual que está formando en ti y el regalo que eres para mi. Este año es diferente porque me enamoré de ti en una campamento 💙😊 y hoy nos vamos de campa junto con Selah. 🚎🏝 Hemos disfrutado de una gran cantidad de aventuras juntos y cada viaje que hemos podido hacer. No puedo priorizar mis momentos favoritos contigo pero si puedo decir que tomarnos fotos juntos, ver fútbol americano, servir juntos, jugar juegos de mesa, sacar a pasear a Lollapalooza, platicar en el carro, abrazarte, ir a conciertos, quedarme dormido en el cine, ver epis, comprar libros, pasar horas en Barnes & Nobles, sacarte de onda para preguntarte si algo se ve bien, orar juntos, preparar mensajes y avanzar el Reino de Dios cómo Familia es algo que disfruto día a día. Gracias por tu paciencia y de verdad por hacerme ganas para las aventuras y para las batallas. Keep it concise. I’ll fail more often than I’d like. To finish something you need to give up achieving something else. I’m quitting to perfect. I don’t get everything done, but I have a clear set of priorities. Obviously social media is not one of them. Thrilled & blessed to celebrate 14 years of @vidarealtv youth ministry @cnxn_vr Please celebrate with us the impact of what it has meant for you @cnxn_vr It’s been an awesome journey getting to build the local church through a community of enthusiastic young people. When I arrived I was 17 and now I’m close to 30. My life has been transformed with the privilege to love, serve, and lead without deserving anything. His promises are Yes and Amen and I celebrate the fact that families are created in #CNXN Thanks @pastoronymadrid & @ninodemadrid for leading us to always follow Jesus our Shepard. Thanks @erziesse & @fcoyoy for stepping by our side every step of the journey. Thanks to my wife @maffi_acevedo for sharing your life too to raise a generation of new breed revivalists.
