While I was in my ethnic studies class, my prof asked us to determine if someone was a man or a woman based on some text that gave some facts about them. She then asked why we thought they were what we said. One of the descriptions said that the person was gay, in college, doesn’t drink or smoke and isn’t sexually active. Some guy in the back said that he thought it was a guy because “college gay girls get down”.

Sitting next to me was some girl whose response was, “Yea but not with you!”

My prof cracked up and some other people started laughing too, but like no fucking shit she wouldn’t ‘get down’ with him. She’s gay. It’s literally part of who she is. She obviously wouldn’t fuck a guy cause she likes to fuck girls. Why did they find this response funny at all?
