I've had another random idea!

Instead of three randomized tropes, you get a randomized song. Now, do these songs necessarily have anything to do with Gallavich? Nah.

Though some Gallavich classics will be mixed in there! I've broken down songs into "themes," so if it will make you more comfortable to participate, you may pick a theme. Otherwise, I'll "spin" for a theme and then "spin" for three song choices from there. You only need to choose one song, I just want to give options, though I will need the final choice selected to avoid overlap with other participants.

For the next week I'll be collecting song suggestions through Asks. Then I will start the sigh-up process! Further timeline is to be determined, but the challenge is open to writers, artists, and video editors!

Not entirely sure if this is the forum and I do not want to absolutely beleaguer you with asks for the song fic thing — but a song suggestion I’ve been listening to that reminds me of Mickey and Ian and their whole relationship is “You Learn” by Alanis Morissette from Jagged Little Pill (1995), so there’s (one) suggestion 😅

What would y'all say to a SONGFIC CHALLENGE?

I'm thinking as a bit of an in-between until the next tropes challenge!

Idk, it just hit me this morning that it could be cool lmao.

I'm thinking both fanfic writers and artists could join and basically produce a piece of fic or art that ties in with a song. I might even have a spin for genre/theme and then the final spin for the actual song 👀
