anyways happy pride to all my high risk queers out there, to all my disabled queers for whom events aren't accessible to, to my immunocompromised folks who can't risk attending events where people aren't masked or taking covid precautions! happy pride to my fellow cripqueers that want to be out there fighting and celebrating with their friends and family and can't because it's not safe for them to do so– you're not alone and you deserve to celebrate too. we all do.

Well shit. There goes turkey as a safe place for marginalized groups.  I remember when I was there in around 2012 and there was an LGBT coming out group handing out flyers in Taksim Square. I imagine all of that freedom for LGBTQ people is gone now.

i really hoped this election would be a turning point tbh, and i don't know what to do now. erdoğan doesn't even bother to hide his hatred for us and people love him for it. turkey was never exactly the safest place for queer people but i don't remember ever feeling so hopeless. we'll wait for another five years for our basic rights i guess

Kesinlikle haklısın. Erdoğan'ın oy almasının en büyük sebeplerinden biri insanların duygularına oynayıp siyaseti bir kimlik meselesine çevirmiş olması. Öfkemizi oy verenlere (aldığı torpiller için verenler hariç) yöneltmek bizim için çok daha kolay tabii ama gerçek sorumlunun Erdoğan ve onun politikaları olduğunu unutmamalıyız. Birbirimizi suçlamak sadece daha fazla kutuplaşmaya sebep oluyor ve günün sonunda AKP'ye fayda sağlıyor.

SEÇİM SONUCUNU DOĞRU OKUYALIM VE EMPATİ YAPALIM

Her şeyden önce şunu söylemek isterim ki yaşanan büyük hayal kırıklığının sebebi beklentinin çok büyük olmasıdır.

Halbuki bu seçim sonucu başarısızlık değildir. Eskiye nazaran alınan oylar artmıştır. Daha önce 2.seçime kalınamamışken bu sefer kalınmış olması bir başarıdır.

O yüzden hayal kırıklığının etkisiyle yıkılmaya gerek yoktur. Desteklemeyen insanlara saldırmak ise tamamen yanlıştır. Sosyal medyada onları aptal, cahil diye nitelendirip küçümseyen yorumlar yazmak, hele hele deprem zamanı yapılan iyilikleri başa kakmak son derece ayıptır.

Kılıçdaroğluna oy vermeyen herkes cahil ya da aptal değildir. Bunun başka sebepleri vardır. Dindar insanlar cumhurbaşkanı erdoğan öncesindeki aşağılanmışlıklarını unutmamışlardır. İkinci sınıf insan muamelesi gören dindar halk,cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan sayesinde kendini değerli ve güçlü hissetmiştir.

Eğer bu konu üzerine düşünülür ve onlara samimi olarak değer verilirse bu seçim olmasa bile ileriki seçimler mutlaka kazanılır…
