UPDATE

I didn't updated my birthday here this year It was 2 april (before my friend birthday), I didn't celebrated it since I was with dengue and even went to the hospital. I got dengue when I took Milk to do the surgery on his eye to remove the screwworms. I'm now better at home I was recovering so I didn't made any new post only on twitter mostly. But I'll be back posting soon I can! I have several drawings and ideas and I have a commission now to work! 🥰 BTW I'm still late with a lot of friends bday gifts, so I'm going on my rhythm but I still want to make these gifts when I can! I'm extremely grateful with lys help with my onmyoji account (since I couldn't play due dengue I leave my steam account to her take care of it these days, but now I have been back these weeks) and all these years of support and care so I wanted to focus first on her gift! 💖 as I said before I'll be back drawing on my rhythm! 😊 Thank you for everyone support with everything!! 🥹💖 Baby is a lot well and even took a bath to take out his fur, he have been really happy and cute! ♥ He may need in future a surgery to close his other eye better. But only if it get worse, I think he have been well, so I'm not worried with it.

So, the veterinary clinic we took him agreed to do the cleaning and give the medicines even without payment (since my brother only receives his salary next month, or with donations, we gonna pay later) the price of all operations (+ medicines) was attached my account.

Since I have always taken him his whole life to that clinic, and we had toddy treatment last year with them, they trust us (they accepted that we gonna pay later). Especially since his life could start to be at risk if he doesn't have his treatment now).

There are several medicines, antibiotics, deworming, analgesic, anti-inflammatory that he have to take. Cleaning (surgery) was done with the sedation procedure, and of course, I signed a liability waiver accepting the risks.

40 screwworms were removed from his skin. He has shown a good recovery, and despite the bleeding (I don't want to post these photos, only in msg) the wound needs to be left open (without bandage) in case there are still any more worms to go out of it (despite the cleaning, there may be something left deeper in his eye, the body will expel it with the medicine and we will clean it). Even though they warn that it's disgusting, I don't feel disgusted but rather sad (I cried a little) out of concern for seeing him like this.

I don't mind removing the worms from him. I just want to see him well. The vet was super kind and advised that he removed +100 worms from another dog this week too. I really appreciate everyone sharing the post, and any help to pay for the treatment costs is welcome!

I bought a repellent to help keep the flies away, because unfortunately, no matter how much we clean the house or him, they always appear because of the trash nearby the apartment.

He has shown a good recovery, I love him so much. He's a little quiet now because of the medicine, but he's fine.

He even spat out one of the medicines (it was difficult to give it again without him spitting it out, but he has a very strong personality, I always joke that he is a little delinquent, since he destroyed his toys when he was well).

I want to say I'm a lot grateful with the sharing and anyone who can help with the costs of the treatment. Thank you to everyone, it is really helping any share and help!!

I believe this happened because of the flies that sometimes come into the apartment because they leave the building's trash door open (which is near my ap.). He is suffering a lot from the pain, and the medicine is expensive, so I'm asking for help with the cost of treatment.

He doesn't have a left eye (this is a congenital problem) and because of this the larvae lodged in his paw (because of the injury) and in his eye (he ended up scratching his eye with his paw). His life is not at risk, but since we lost his brother toddy last year we are worried.

Acredito que isso aconteceu por conta das moscas que as vezes vem no apartamento porque esquecem a porta do lixo do edificio aberta (q fica perto do ap). Ele esta sofrendo muito com as dores, e os remédios são caros, por isso estou pedindo ajuda com o custo do tratamento.

Ele não tem o olho esquerdo (isso é um problema congenito) e por conta disso as larvas se alojaram na sua pata (por causa do machucado) e no olho (ele acabou coçando o olho com sua patinha). Ele não tem risco de vida. Perdemos seu irmãozinho toddy ano passado.
