For the graphics I meant the live2d art yeah, and also the chibi/base/battle animations. I only know of aceship, and downloading the files there just gives me a static png. Which is the cn arknights site? Would you give a link?

ah yes no worries, the CN site can be found here, and as for the chibi animations i am not currently aware of anyway to get them transparently myself but you could try the PRTS wiki, if you don't mind the backgrounds i usually just grab the gifs from reddit posts which in turn take them directly from the weibo posts that announce the operators/skins, the reddit posts are just easier to find

I don't know where you find the animated graphics from, I can't find anywhere to download them myself.

first of all, thank you so much for the kind words, they truly mean a lot, i try very hard to avoid making everything very same-y so it's incredibly appreciated to have that be noticed. second, i'd be happy to do both of those for you, i enjoy both characters a lot so it'll be nice to edit both of them. and thirdly, i'm curious about what you mean by "animated graphics"? i would like to help if i can, and right not my only assumption would be that you mean the gifs i make of characters live2d, in which case i simply download the videos directly from the arknights CN site and then make them into gifs myself, but if it's anything else feel free to let me know, i'll be happy to help

red: do you prefer editing gifs or still images?

i like doing both! i love to make gifs and edit them even though it's kind of pain sometimes. with still images i like to put fun gif overlays with them anyway because i love when things are moving and animated fr.

white: what got you into editing and what motivates you to continue?

i was a teen on kinblr and there used to be a lot of kin editing blogs that i thought were super cool. @pridewishes and their partner's old blog was one of my biggest inspirations back in the day and i've since had maybe like, at least 6 different edit blogs run alone and with friends that i met through their group and i'm grateful for it everyday. i'm also inspired a lot by @reflectedshine (or their old blog, rather). i love editing in general as i used to pursue graphic design and i'm surrounded by friends who edit amazing things that inspire me to do better so even though i have my grievances i'm still here to this day. in my silly editing program making silly edits.

now that i'm caught up on the things i had left to do before i got sick i will go back to no longer posting request asks (i was doing this so people would get a notification about their stuff being done, since they might've stopped looking out) and i've added a little inbox list to the pinned post plus also slightly updated the rentry. i do not know when i'll get back to the birthday edits but i do want to pick them back up in the future for now though it'll likely just be things i thought would be fun to make
