So the colour of Crowley’s power is the same as the plume that appears after he and Aziraphale performed their hiding miracle. Shax says that “only the mightiest of archangels” could have performed it. Coincidence? I think not.

I see 3 options:

1. Purple/magenta is the colour for all first order archangels (Crowley & Gabriel).

2. It’s the result of Crowley & Aziraphale working together but I’m not sure since when we first see it only Crowley is using his powers.

3. It’s just Crowley’s colour.

Crowley’s Angel Features (Season 2, Episode 6)

I noticed that Crowley, too, has angel marks.

The first and most obvious one is his gold snake tattoo.

The second one is his gold teeth.

And finally and this one is the most subtle one I think: he’s wearing gold nail polish.

Every day it's getting closer. We aren't quite there yet. But Amazon has definitely been doing things that make a third season more likely.
