do it. lawyer it up. save me and win nico his cups let's gooooo
okay, hear me out... (this is in reference to this ask Eliot sent in yesterday).
The relevant part of the question here: if I was dying and you could save me but letting me die would guarantee that the devils win at least 3 cups in the nico era
so, the puzzle is how do we save Eliot and get Nico at least three Cups.
I’ve been pondering this for the last day or so, and I think these are my loopholes:
1) you can be legally declared dead, but actually turn out to be alive. like just a document error situation or even like something more serious like a witness protection program thing, where you’re dead, but actually you never died. so we fulfill the requirement of you dying to ensure the Cup wins. like to the government you’re dead, but you’re not.
2) I think you can also be declared clinically dead like due to cardiac arrest, but then be brought back to life as well. like your heart can stop right, and you could flatline but then come back to life. its happened before! there’s like an actual medical term for it! so once again technically dead, but not actually dead, and we get our Cups!
nucks are living proof that if your franchise goalie is out for an undisclosed amount of time, your skaters can just make a ton of saves in the crease and you can win games
idk if anyone else said it but your color system on your who you want to win rd 1 post is purple for teams you like, green for teams you're okay with, and orange for the lesser of two evils... right?
yes, Anon! You’re correct!
Your reward is a fic!
Send in a prompt and players and I’ll try to write something up for ya!
(just a heads up: I write almost exclusively NJD and I don’t really write Jack with anyone that isn’t Nico, but you’re welcome to send me what you want and if it inspires something I’ll write it for ya! You can send in more than one prompt too if you’re not sure and I can pick one!)
No promises when it’ll be done, but it will get done.
these fifty years of brainwashing can't hold a candle to my devotion. these hands know you if my mind does not. I will pull you from this river. I trust my love for you more than I trust my own mind. i ask myself who i am and there is only one enduring answer. someone that loves you. <- Believe it or not ten years ago they put this in a marvel stuidios .cinematic movie
best trope is the one where the character’s godlike power is also killing them btw. they don’t even lift a hand to kill the monster but now they’re delirious with fever. they save a friend’s life and said friend immediately finds them emergency medical care. they raze the enemy to nothing and it takes far too long to find their pulse with all the bruising. their friends just constantly having to patch them up and worrying over which feat will be their last. et cetera
