Before and after shots of our impromptu "restoration" of a Power Stone arcade machine at the @museumofpinball. It was just sitting hidden in storage and I just happen to walk past it and went all apesh*t about bringing it back to life! Forgot to take pics of it actually on, because we got caught up in playing it victoriously! The only thing that was wrong with it is that it just needed a nice bath. Cleaned up dried soda from God knows when, took apart the controllers and reinstalled new microswitches etc. Now this bad boy is ready to play at @arcadeexpo!! Such excite. Besides pinball and the arcade classics, these are the type of special and rare games at @arcadeexpo! It's coming up, jam 15-17 in Banning, CA. You gotta come on, seriously!! Haha! Space Pilot was made in 1968, and is a purely mechanical game where you gain points by hitting little wires as you spin around incircles like an astronaut training course. It's not the best coverage of a sweet location I've ever done, but @garibaldispizza in Memphis, TN has 6 great pins from the late 70s and 80s! I would have done a better video, but i got caught up in a really great convo with @spoon2bigg about the Memphis Arcade scene... So ya know... ;) Oh! There was also a cool old razorback pinhead that was destroying all our scores. He was pretty awesome too. Overall, excellent experience for my first time driving through Memphis!
