Drowning Song
I drown in words but forget who is drowning me is it the child who said
"Some things don't feel like anything else."
when asked what it was like when water forced its way down their throat and up their nose or was it the liar who said
"I want a government small enough to drown in my bathtub."
when all he really wanted was to choke people like me on his official words or is it the boy I loved drowning me when he said I
"Made him feel pretty."
when I asked if I could drown in his eyes?

Happy by pharrell williams, also this one song that had this one like about dynamite and fireworks I can never remember the name of
reblog and put in the tags the earliest songs you remember actively liking as a child (asking adults to play them for you, learning the lyrics, being excited when they came on the radio etc.)

I cannot help but perhaps someone else can? I don't think anyone is paying attention to my blog in particular but mayhaps the great algorithm will make this post more visible anyways
8/19/23 URGENT!! HELP NEEDED
so while i was trying to work today in the heat, the car broke down. it needs a new alternator which is GREAT... bc we just replaced it AND the battery last month. the part we need wont be available for a whole week so, i could really really use some help, since my job is delivery driving, i'm out of work until it's fixed.
i'm a cripple with kids to support as i also look for a different job. unfortunately this all came at the Worst Time Possible, since i need to cover insurance, tags, THIS MESS, and rent.
when i have the spoons to finish my art comm sheet, i'll link it, but i am taking commissions on my [ art blog ] or my [ art twtr ]
( p*ypal link )

I'm reblogging this purely so I can remember to write it later. {lease remind me if you happen to find this post and the book is not yet on the internet/for sale
Just had a dream that a novel exists which is written from the POV of an old man dying in the 1920s in the form of diary entries and bit by bit it's revealed it's actually a closeted trans woman who was out during her youth and forced to recloset and now I desperately want to read it

See, like three quarters of my problems are capitalism, but the remaining quarter is the fact that my body (a wretched forest beast) wants to simply eat, fuck, and sleep all day, while my mind (a transcendent being) wants to to do nothing but invent new forms of math. Poetry and hugs are the middle ground.

I'll have you know I'm doing yoga (or sucking dick)
hate how any mention of being on knees is immediately assumed to be sucking dick. because maybe theyre eating pussy. did you even think about that? no you only think about yourself

“So when I say that one man not only shaped New York but shaped it for centuries to come, because now how can you overcome that? All the people who live in northeastern Queens, or Co-op City in the Bronx, and all of Suffolk and a lot of Nassau County, they’re condemned to use cars. It’s not easy to use mass transit. Moses came along with his incredible vision, and vision not in a good sense. It’s like how he built the bridges too low. I remember his aide, Sid Shapiro, who I spent a lot of time getting to talk to me, he finally talked to me. And he had this quote that I’ve never forgotten. He said Moses didn’t want poor people, particularly poor people of color, to use Jones Beach, so they had legislation passed forbidding the use of buses on parkways. Then he had this quote, and I can still hear him saying it to me. “Legislation can always be changed. It’s very hard to tear down a bridge once it’s up.” So he built 180 or 170 bridges too low for buses.”

Yeah you're right. It WOULD be pretty fucked up if you were a swan but you were raised by ducks and you grew up never seeing another swan or even knowing that such a thing as a swan even existed so you just thought you were a duck with something super wrong with it.

Sometimes I see something like this and am reminded to be glad for my basic privacy even if I've got other junk going on
FEMA is doing an emergency alert test on all TVs, radios, and cell phones on October 4, 2023, at approximately 2:20pm ET.
If you live in the US and you have a phone you need to keep secret for any reason, make sure that it is turned off at this time.
Yes, I'm doing this months in advance, and yes, my blog has very little reach, but I figure better to post about it more than less.
Please reblog and add better tags than mine, I'm bad at tags.
