PRODUCTION UPDATE🧭

Hi everyone we have some updates, thank you for the patience. Due to COVID, there's been a delay in shipment of our acrylic charms and tote bags. However we’re happy to say we're now packaging & shipping 📦

Here's a flip-through of Embark, we’re so excited for you all to receive it! It looks so amazing and we can't wait for everyone to have it in their hands!! 🤩 * Zines will have silver foiling

Unfortunately orders will not arrive by Christmas. We are very sorry for the delays and will add a free bonus polaroid with all physical orders.

Arrived: 🆕 Zine, tote bag, enamel pins. heart badges, all paper merchandise; Postcards, polaroids, posters

Packaging and shipping📦 We'll be packaging & shipping orders out for the remainder of this month, as well as the months following. Please note we are 2 people packaging and shipping, so we may not be very fast, but we will do our very best to get these out as soon as we can!! 💪

Embark Preorders Closed 🌟

Hi there! It’s been a while but on behalf of the whole Embark team thank you so much for all the support!! 💖 We were truly blown away by how much support and love we received! We reached 750+ orders and hit all our stretch goals and unlocked our share campaign! We couldn't have done it without your support and all our contributors hard work! 💕

We’ve been busy producing all of the merchandise and working on the Zine throughout this time. We’re excited to be sharing all these production updates tomorrow! Please keep an eye out! 👀

All orders come with tracked shipping, PDFs will also be sent at that time ✨

We were on track for orders to begin being shipped in October, however due to some unforeseen circumstances with COVID, there has been a delay of the production and shipment of our acrylic charms and tote bags arriving. Thus, orders are now planned to be shipped out in November.

Take a peek at what’s inside Embark! Filled with gorgeous art and writing there’s sure to be something for everyone! Here’s an example of one of our arc intros 😍 Grab a physical copy in one of our merch bundles or as a PDF 🧳

🗺️ Embark Zine Content Breakdown:

We've got a mix of art and writing, around 70% art and 30% writing. We hope this breakdown helps as a guide, but it's not entirely accurate because almost all pages include a mix of both! We aimed to have a good mesh of content throughout the zine.

🖼️ Art content: comics, what's in my bag, full illustrations (single/double page), arc introductions, travel tip pages and polaroids. We have art which is character centric (groups/solos/duos) and landscape centric, as well as a mix of both together, of course!

📮 Writing content: Full fanfics, ficlets, arc introductions and recipes. We aimed to cover a wide range of character voices throughout the zine in various locations. The full fanfics focused on group dynamics whereas the ficlets were fun bits of travel-related writing such as Gon and Killua’s Greed Island notes

📔 Full fanfic example; The main four revisit Whale Island together. Ficlet example; Killua and Gon write letters to each other while they're apart ;; We have accommodating art for the ficlets, arc intros and recipes which were created by several artists.

Please note that the zine is not 100% finalised for formatting so it could change slightly for the final version. We hope this breakdown is insightful!
