"Here are some details of the incredible angel roof on the nave at Cawston in Norfolk. The roof dates from c. 1460. On the hammerbeams of the roof stand eleven six-foot tall seraphim, still with much of their original colour on them. Some have their hands in prayer, others in adoration. On the east wall of the nave at the same level as the roof, is the shadow in red ochre of the long-lost great rood cross."

For the last time: Mary Shelley and Lord Byron were friends. She didn't hate him. His death was a very painful loss to her. She didn't write Frankenstein because she was stuck in a house with him and he was an unbearable person. For God's sake, just read her journals and letters.

Renfield hadn’t prayed to God in, well, quite a while. If he was correct, and his math usually was, it had been months, days, minutes and seconds since he had prayed to God, only, that time didn’t apply anymore. That was in the future—where he died at the hands of the one he called Master and where he wept upon Ms Mina’s skirts, his blood pooling across the sanitorium floor. He had prayed to God like only the mad struck with prophetic vision can. He saw his fate, and the fate of Dracula before him, that wicked gleam in his eye which told of horrors yet to come, his mouth exposing teeth that had yet to drink, and would wait longer still, for he only had eyes for one victim. His hands, pale and losing feeling were invisibly stained—stained with that red drink of life he had so desperately craved his own mouth to touch. And now?
Now he was in his room. It was spring again and he was in his room. A fly buzzed overhead and before he could stop himself he had snatched it from the air. It tickled against his skin, its wings straining against the weight of his hand before he opened his palm to the sky and let it go.
It was spring.
How could it be spring?
His laughter was surely mistaken to be manic as he lay back upon his bed. It would go unnoticed.
Renfield was back in his room, in Dr. Seward’s Sanitorium.
—Bad Dreams, A Dracula Time loop story

You see ghosts, Cole? They want me to do things for them. They- They talk to you? They tell you to do things? They’re the ones that used to hurt me.
