Going through a lot so I wanted to say a few things to help those in the same boat. To artists and all…

Your work and art, no matter how early on in your journey, is both important and beautiful. It’s ok to not like something you make. Notice my comic I made is gone? Why? Because even though im proud of myself for trying, im not happy with the result. So I deleted it because well, I don’t like looking at it and don’t think I want others to. It’s ok to delete posts, it’s ok to make a space for yourself. I made my account and started posting art online for myself first, and others as a second.

Im thankful for everyone close to me, and those im just now meeting. Art gives me a reason, and so does people. I’m learning from it all, and I hope you are too.

I didn’t feel like drawing today, but that’s ok. I didn’t, I posted something from the other day I finished. I made nothing new because I was drained, and it’s ok to take breaks. I gave myself a break, and I hope you do too.

I never thought I’d get to where I am today in my art journey, I always thought I’d never be able to do a lil comic and I did it.

I made my account and started posting not only for myself, but to be positive and show people that art takes time, even if you hate what you make that is ok! Give it another go and try again! It’s not about the likes for me, it’s about the fact that I want to help people know this.

Also, thank you everyone. Every single one of you who follow me and interact with my posts, even if it’s just 5 people liking, it means so much to me. Those who have seen my improvement and been there from the start, thank you.

I hope other artists or anyone who come across this post understand this: it’s ok to not like a piece, don’t force yourself to like it, try again and make something you do like instead. And..it takes time, if you think you can’t do something, do it. Because I know you can <3
