ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello, members. Tasha and I have had such a fun run with this roleplay, from meeting new friends to making hilarious connections and plots. Unfortunately, we have tried in multiple ways to boost activity to have posts be made more than once a week, but it seems time to lay our group to rest as it has become more tiring than fun at this point.

Do you have what it takes?
As Chiron has mentioned in the HC meeting last month, there are demigods out there who need your help. Five demigods were reported to be stuck in the Lotus Casino, the notorious place that does everything to make demigods never want to leave. Filled with monsters and temptations, it will take a special kind of camper to go on this quest and make it back safely, or at all.
Thank you to all the volunteers, seven of you have been chosen to go on this mission. Once you all arrive at the casino, it will be best to split up in teams to find and retrieve the lost demigods. You must get this mission done as quickly as possible, time passes differently when inside and every extra minute is just a moment closer to becoming trapped. And remember, no matter how much you want to, don’t eat the lotus blossoms !!
Your missions begins February 28th, be ready. Volunteers, you will receive messages regarding further details.
OOC info:
this event will last Feb 28 starting at 4pm est and last until March 7th at 9pm est
non-event threads will continue for campers not going on the quest, and they are welcome to include the fact that their friends and family are away on a dangerous mission.
threads will begin as of when the campers all arrive to the casino and split off into their teams, which will be sent to you through your asks (please make sure they are open).
plot drops that happen to your team will also be sent by ask so please make sure to check for them.
threads can occur during the quest between campers on the quest who aren’t on the same team, just please make sure they don’t interfere with the timeline of your team’s plot drop.

Who’s that running into Camp Half-Blood? Oh, it’s the [OC] demigod [CALLIGENIA “GENIE” ALMEIDA] They really look like [CAMILA MENDES]. Rumour is this [19] year old [CLAIMED] [DAUGHTER] of [PERSEPHONE] is very [IMPULSIVE & STUBBORN], but at least they’re also [DILIGENT & LOYAL]. Headcanons:
She had always known that she was not like the rest of her family, but it was not until she was seven years old that her father had explained to her the truth about her birth mother – and about camp – after Genie had made flowers bloom in their back yard in the middle of one of Washington State’s worst winters, much to the delight of her younger sister.
Genie came to camp on her own at age fifteen after a monster found her when she was babysitting her two younger half-siblings, Luca and Sophia. She knew that her father and step-mother would talk her out of leaving, so Genie packed as much as she could, as fast as she could, and left to the nearest bus station later that night once the chaos had settled in the household and everyone was asleep.
It took Genie a good year at camp before she was comfortable enough to attempt to start making friends. The jarring change she had put herself through leaving her family left her guarded and appearing cold, but did not change the fierce loyalty and protection she offered to those she came to trust.
