"Steve," she said trying not to be amused and add to his apparent embarrassment. Slowly she approached the bed, taking a seat beside him lightly. Gently she raised a hand to rest over his covered one that was grasping the blanket higher over himself. "Why are you embarrassed? In a way, it's kind of flattering."

Even if he was still hard from his actions and her being there didn't help his hardness.

"Kicking up a storm," she said, sounding slightly distracted as she tried to get a better look at his injury. Brushing his hair to the side she let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. It really wasn't that bad, he'd been right. It was just weird not being in the field with him currently; not being able to watch out for him. All she felt like she could do was worry nowadays. Dabbing at his cut she tried to concentrate as she cleaned the crusted edges carefully. She finished cleaning it as he talked. What he described sounded like heaven but it wasn't necessary. She wasn't the one out doing things. She just laid around watching tv all day.

"I'm fine," she insisted with a little laugh. "Just want to make sure this doesn't get infected," she said as she added a final layer of antiseptic. "Now stop moving so I can put on the strips-" She nearly rolled her eyes as he pulled away to pick up the heating pad.

"You're not going to let this go, are you?"

Bucky sat down before she would yell at him again, letting him fix him up. He sighed slightly when she said that not much had happened, no doubt she had just been trying to keep busy whilst he was gone. "They still kicking at night?" He asked, that was always his time to try and feel the baby kicking, and whilst he was gone he had missed it so much. Even though they were only gentle little kicks at the moment, he always focussed and stayed as still as possible so he could feel them.

"You're not okay so talk to me." Bucky said, it was clear she had been struggling whilst he was gone. "When I'm all cleaned up, I'm giving you a massage okay? And you're not arguing with me on that one, you're going to have a long bath and let me rub your feet and rub your back." He insisted and looked at the heating pad on the floor and picking it up. "Let me take care of you, I'm home. And I'm staying home for a long time."
