For your other characters from Ladykillers, who would romance who in BG3?

Allow me to answer your question and also a bunch of questions you did NOT ask! SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Laszlow would probably romance Shadowheart, but never makes it past the Act 1 “sharing a bottle of wine” kiss scene. She jumps right into a Dark Urge tactician mode playthru the moment she picks up the game, and chops Gale’s hand off at the portal, kills Karlach bc that’s what Wyll’s quest tells her to do, stakes Astarion when he tries to bite her, and also kills Shadowheart in Act 2 so she can get Durge’s Slayer form, whereupon her remaining party members also turn on her (and die). By the time she faces the netherbrain it’s just her player avatar + 3 hirelings 🤣

Mal doesn’t even make a custom Tav—she plays as Lae’zel bc she prefers playing as a martial class. She skips thru all the dialogue/cutscenes because she’s mainly in it for the combat mechanics, and misses a TON of story bc she never long rests. She doesn’t even realize romances are an option before growing tired of the game and putting it down after trying it out for 2 days. (Though if she had to pick, she’d probably also romance Shadowheart)

For anyone who’s curious, this is the mod I used for her face (bc I wasn’t satisfied with the ONE East Asian face option elves had in the base game) 😁 It’s the only mod I have installed, and I suspect it’s still causing me problems lol

i really love the way you use colors in your work, the different hue overlays or saturation levels really help make all the forms distinct and pop from one another but still seem like a unified whole, its marvelous!!!

also i love gale and i express my love by pulling his pigtails so that is also my jam

Thanks so much!! I’ll let you in on a little secret—I actually do all of the baseline colors for my BG3 comics in grayscale, then slap a gradient map on top. As someone who is Not Great With Color, this is a pretty surefire way to maintain a unified color palette.

Here’s a tutorial on using gradient maps in Procreate (I made this AGES ago, so it may be a little out of date):

(I use Clip Studio now, so let me know if folks want a tutorial for that program too!)

PS: there are two wolves inside me, and both of them want to bully Gale (affectionately 🤣)

I love your art! Your tav is super pretty and cute and energetic and fun! And I also love your Gale being such a silly and astarion watching the show, however I feel like he will lock gale and tav in a room and -swallow- the key just so these lovebirds get on with the program. XD also your shading and anatomy and lineart art so smooth! 10/10 ♡♡♡
