I've got a quick question for you, Would it be alright if I started doing analysis posts on Heroes Spirit? And if it would be alright if I used screenshots of the comic to do so? (Fully credited, of course, I normally tag the main account and the account the comic is situated on)

After 100% binging it I've low key fallen in love and would love to make them for you. But I wanted to check first, as it's your art and I wouldn't want to just start doing them without asking first.

Hi! Is Eras a commonly used name for HW Link in fan works or is it something you came up with? I'm tempted to design my own links at some point and it's a really nice and fitting name next to the usual Wars, but I don't want to borrow something that might not be in wide use without asking first

Hello! I can’t say that I saw it being used as a common name for HW Link before. (Dare I say, my influence???) That being said, I am seeing it more often now! I really enjoy the name and I give people blanket permission to use it for their own aus always.

G. If I wrote a sequel to a fic, hmm. I’ll pick Fall From Grace for this, and the sequel is going to be Eras being happy and getting his hair braided.

H. How would I describe my writing style? Fluff with poison.

L. Which of my fanfics was the most emotionally challenging to write? Brothers in Blood and Spirit, this one takes the cake. There is a lot of balancing more lighthearted moments to counteract the seriousness and melancholy that happens during the War of Eras. It’s difficult because I worry about things being a bit too much, but we persevere.

M. What’s the weirdest au scenario I’ve come up with? Different people’s aus HW Links meeting, some of them would be friends and others would fight in a mcdonalds ball pit. Has this been turned into a story? no.

Y. What are my thoughts on personal satisfaction with something I’ve written vs popularity of my stories. Do I tend to be satisfied with my most popular stories? Okay interesting one. I sort of go in with the expectation of my fics not being super popular or anything. 1. I write for my own au most of the time, so most are not inclined to click on something not LU. 2. I write primarily for one of the least favorite Links. Regardless, I don’t make a habit of looking at my stats. I value the type of comments I receive over number of views or kudos. Did I make someone laugh? Cry? Have a thought provoking reaction? Then that is a work I am proud of. For the second part of the question now, I am sort of unsatisfied with my most popular fic, but not in the expected way. It’s an LU fic I wrote alongside when I was creating Heroes Spirit. I’m not satisfied with it in the sense that I do wish and hope some of my HS fics will surpass it, which two of them are on their way to doing!

D. The most personal fic I’ve written was The Captain’s Log. I gave (LU) Warriors the same type as arthritis as me and explored how it even affects the little things that bring joy (in his case, calligraphy).

E. What character do I identify with the most? Surprisingly, like actually surprisingly, it is Twilight. Eras is a close second since I do project on him a lot. But no, Twilight is a small town farmboy, just like me for real. I actually haven’t really explored this in any of my fics yet, but that aspect will be showing up in One Last Dance.

R. Which writers are my biggest influence? Okay, this one’s actually difficult. I’ve always been a big Riordan fan but I don’t think my style reflects on that at all. And fandom wise, I read a lot from Echoingstars and Arecaceae and Somerknights. TBH if you’re an enjoyer of writing Warriors (Legend of Zelda), it’s highly likely I have read your stuff.

N. Any fic ideas brewing? Yes actually! I have a lil oneshot brewing where Twilight is sad so he goes fishing about it. And of course one rotating in my head is Eras getting his hair braided, I’m so normal for it.

U. Any pairings I want to write but haven’t yet? I so badly want to write Sailor and Piper interactions, they truly are like antagonistic brothers. I’m also excited for Time and Eras interactions, there will be much Link on Link violence that day <3

A. My favorite fanfic I’ve written? A hard choice, but The Nebula Brigade. It was my first time branching out and actually writing an au, so I have a soft spot for it. It was also the first time I felt confident enough to use non-LU related tags! It was my gateway into writing more self indulgent works and being unafraid to post fics related to HS.

P. What a convenient segway! Main inspiration for The Nebula Brigade is two different Star Wars animated series, Rebels and Bad Batch. A bit came from the original Trigun anime as well. Mix those together and give it a Zelda spin? Bam, Nebula Brigade.

V. I answered this in a previous ask, but just for you Ace specifically, ‘ “ When Cori stepped back and looked at him with sad eyes “ LEE WHATCTHE FUCK’ I would also post the Eras heehee emote here if I could.

B. The first fandom I ever read a fic for was ATLA! Way back in the FF Net days. The first fandom I actually wrote a fic for was FMA:B.

Z. I wholeheartedly think it’s Fall From Grace. It’s one that doesn’t get a whole lot of attention, though probably due to a lack of whimsy and happiness. Still, it’s a good look into Eras’ headspace after the war.

J. Fanfic tropes hmmm. Gotta say, I am a huge fan of any sort of enemies to lovers/found family. I have written it a handful of times.

K. Guilty pleasures aplenty. I am the type to write incredibly self indulgent niche aus. In the mood for a bodyguard au, brother, I am on it. That being said, I do have a soft spot for reading fics where chronic pain/disabilities are explored.

V. Any certain comments that have stuck with me? Any sort of playful threats against me are always great, it means I am doing a good job. Such examples as “EHAT IF I THROTTLE YOU LEE. WHAT THEN” -Ace. And cannot forget about “RAAARRRRRGRGGGGHHGGRGRHRGGGHHH BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK DEAR GODS LEE YOU COULD WRITE ANYTHING AND I WOULD BE CAPTIVATED GRRRARRRRRGGGHHH” -Sage. I think about that one a lot, it’s so touching that people are willing to read my very specific niche au fics <3 I also love the style of comments that are live reacts, always a treat. Or when I find out someone wasn’t too keen on a character or pairing and I single handedly changed their brain chemistry with my works.
