oooh i love the alfred graph thing! also love that even the canon verion is prob bouncing from different ends like the dvd logo on a tv screen. do you have one for matthew? i think his would be real interesting too bc in canon he's shy and anxious and leans into straight up cutesy at times (the shows sub VA def played that up with the whiny, cute voice lmaoo) and very people pleasing, except with alfred, then hes pissy lol. but fanon matthew often seems like a more reserved version of alfred. giving more frat boy, pothead energy.

tried my hand in an ame fanon characterization spectrum inspired by this post. another axis i wouldve added is focus on genki-ness or focus on megane-ness... but im too lazy to do that so this is it. its not perfect but its from what ive seen in my experience

roughly where i'd put my ame in this map... but you'd add boy with girl. and in the genki-megane axis i think i'd be in the middle leaning into genki

The amount of different characterizations there are of ame is so wild because people really do go in wild directions that I can see any of them as a possibility and I enjoy all of them, I've seen him before as a cocky charismatic manipulative asshole, as a well-hearted oblivious guy that's really trying his best to help but is dumb/dense, etc. I just think he's so flexible and love the various ways people write him because they handle it so well and make it seem in character while displaying other traits of him that didn't seem like they would fit and yet they make it work somehow? It's just so good and this includes your ame too, love that wacky girl <3

imagining the different spectrums of ame characterization would be interesting. people go about him in many different ways, theres like a ton of fanon ame spectrum of traits ☝️🤤 im trying to think about the main dichotomies you can see in fanon...

cute or cool ame. purposeful ame or ignorant ame 🤔 i forget... maybe how people do the hero gimmick? how an artist draws his evilness is also more ambiguous sometimes. oh right sincerity. sincere ame or fake ass lying bitch ame 🤔 that falls under purposeful or ignorant a bit i think. i think visually the spectrum is if you make him handsome(rly more masculine) or if you make him cute(rounder softer edges? moe?) a cartoonish ame would be somewhere in the middle leaning to cute maybe?

maybe the spectrum would be more from a generally masculine ame to a more cute boyish ame(Cute Girl For A Guy Like Me). and another spectrum would be from sincerity to deceptiveness ☝️🙂‍↕️ but the main dichotomy is the sincerity/lyingbitch one i think
