HELPFUL TIPS ✨ feat. beta editor
we've all had the issue of t/umblr EATING replies after spending several minutes ( or several hours ) on a bomb-ass reply. fully aware it was never as good as the first time you wrote it. this can be annoying && in most cases disheartening-- that same reply can sit in your drafts collecting dust just waiting for that same motivation to strike once again. believe me WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE !!
now this little helpful morsel was recommened to me several times, by many talented people here in the community. ( they're ahead of the game as you can see 😎😎😎 ) and it's very easy to use. you can find this amazing resource here, and for those new to it; don't worry babe !! here's a quick && easy tutorial on how to use it 🖤
once you've written your reply ( typically just the words and the fancy text formatting, ie: custom colours, bold, underlined, italics, small font, ect ) you'll head over to the TOP LEFT of the editor && turn it into a source code.
copy the source code and input the code into your draft as an HTML format ( using the TOP RIGHT gear icon on the tumblr page of your reply ) thankfully if you're using beta it will automatically save your reply every few minutes as your writing it just incase the unspeakable happens, ie: a computer reset, a four legged furry heathen trampling across your keyboard, a forsaken coffee spill, and who can forget, WHEN TUMBLR JUST DECIDES TO EAT IT.
unlike old t/umblr, you can switch back and fourth between HTML && Rich Text as much as you want without fear of losing any progress !! so going back and adjusting small text or adding media such as images or icons is easy breezy && you can do it to your hearts content.
be sure to check / proof read your responses to ensure it looks the way you want it to before saving it as a draft / posting it / or throwing into queue. at this stages you can add your images to the t/umblr post editor itself without breaking all the hard work you just made.
AND YOU ARE DONE !! it really is that easy. part of what makes this community so great is the simple fact of sharing reasources && refusing to gatekeep infomation. genuninly, thank you to those of you who willingly offered up help when it was asked. YOU are part of what makes this place better.
special thanks to : @bitterseadrop , @fireandfae , @wendeiwisp

it is a little funny , she tells herself , to watch him struggle for a response for once . she is almost proud of herself for being the one to put him in this position ; yusuke urameshi has always been the one ready to dish out a quick quip , the one to find a way to make weapons of words — though in the most vulgar ways more often than not . ❛ well , i guess you're not wrong , i can't exactly blame you for that . ❜ she can certainly be a little happier with herself , though .
in a quick movement , lithe limbs spin back around to the mirror in front of her , pondering a response to his question even as her mind begins to wander ; arcade ... & food court ... ❛ i know , ❜ she murmurs , & almost as if on cue , her stomach rumbles . heat crawls up the nape of her neck , soft cheeks flushing the slightest bit in response . ❛ i can definitely hit the food court right now , ❜ her words are spoken more to herself than him , really , but her attention is his completely once more at his mention of a shorter dress . rosy cheeks now burn crimson & she spins back around , soft hues narrowing as she folds her arms across her chest , ❛ i have no incentive to make your ogling any more enticing . ❜
He raises a brow as he tried to think of a decent rebuttal but he couldn’t think of one. Maybe she was right, he didn’t even realize it but just MAYBE Yusuke had a small bias towards the color green..which is proven by the fact that today he wore a green jacket as well. Tch, she really did put him into a corner, to the point that he was a little speechless. Who would have thought, the great Yusuke Urameshi would run out of smart remarks?
“Tch, well ya can’t blame a guy that’s finally found his look.” His gaze returned towards her. “So, are ya gonna buy this one? Let’s not forget you said we can hit the arcade once you’re done shopping..and the food court.” One way to get Yusuke to shop with you is the promise of treats and a little bit of gaming. He looked at her once more and nodded his head. “Though, the green look was a success, it never hurts t’ find a shorter dress. More legs never killed a person.” There was his signature grin, after an undoubtedly perverse remark.

nonverbal meme prompts
↪ they seem few & far between, so i tried to come up with as many scenarios as i could think of where dialogue wasn’t a necessary starting point. some are more uh specific than others / drabble-y, but they’re all dialogue-free ( tho ofc this does not necessarily extend to the response itself ). to reverse who sends what, send ‘ [ prompt ]+ ’ ! alter any as you see fit, & lemme know if anything’s unclear ♡
