☆Fun fact: This is an iron footbridge that was built in the 1870s. There were about 70 of these bridges constructed in the country(most likely fewer now), and this bridge is one of the only known bridges left that was constructed with its particular design. It rests over Glen Creek which is around 85ft below, and the view is insane to me. ▪ ▪ ▪ ☆Another fun fact: I'm seriously afraid of heights and you can see right through this bridge and of course it creaks. I kept begging Matty to hurry up and take the picture and then I ran off of the bridge. 😅 I had him walk me to the edge and gripped onto him for dear life to look over the railing. It was gorgeous. I've been feeling out of sorts, as if I'm crumbling. I've been more negative than positive on any given day over the passed 5 months. I can feel my emotions kicking my fight-or-flight into high gear, making it feel like life is spinning out of control. It has not been an easy time, and pin pointing the reason why is the hardest thing I've been trying to do. <><><>< Yoga, breathing, sleeping.. it all seems like one huge pill I'm not able to swallow and my throats only getting dryer. <><><><>< Living is really hard right now, it has been for a while, and I'm letting it get the best of me. I'm telling you all of this in case you feel like you're never going to pull out of this rut, similarly to how I feel. <><><><><><<< It's not easy, but it is doable. After taking a few minutes to breathe, stretch the body I've been neglecting, I felt better...for about two minutes. ☀☀ There will always be a lot going on, and some of us need to care for ourselves more than others. And that's okay. If you're feeling like me, and you need someone to look out for you, well here it is: ♡Get up from bed and open your windows. Let the sun shine in and breathe in some fresh air ♡Drink a full glass of water, maybe two, and if you're feeling spunky, add some mint or lemon. ♡Try to eat something small but packed with nutrients. Maybe an apple or celery with some nut butter. ♡Try to take in five full deep breaths before moving onto or completing tasks that may be agonizing. The breath heals a lot more than you'd think. ♡Find some way to give yourself affection. Take a hot shower (or cold if you're into that 0.0), stretch, go for a run, eat chocolate (DARK😘), use your favorite lotion, snuggle an animal. ♡Laugh, laugh at everything. Laugh at yourself, at your pet being crazy, at how absurd life can be. ☆Take the advice that is so hard for me- DON'T TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY. Whatever you're sweating will pass sooner than you think, so for right now, take life second by second. #ThisTooShallPass
