i will say re: the last post about owen being treated like a dog (and this goes for ripper too) that they do play that up as a recurring gag in the actual show so it's not like that is coming entirely out of a vacuum

#txt #Like ripper and owen have a lot of similarities in terms of like #both being not very book smart characters who are deeply loyal to partners and friends to a fault #so it makes sense they both share this gag from the writers too #I think this is a pretty common type of character personality that is often assigned to fat characters #They both just manifest it in diff ways (ie ripper being a flop with no friends while owen is a social butterfly and generally well liked)

i feel like we as a fandom dehumanise the fat characters so much like what is with that guys. owen is always talked about like hes a stupid dog that follows around noah or something and believe me when i say that sugar wouldve been such a fan favourite if she looked like heather. some of yall just hate characters than arent skinny and conventionally attractive and its nothing to be proud of! thanks
