I know the Netherlands the best because I’ve been there most times. I would love to visit Luxembourg, though, since it’s the only neighbour country I’ve never visited.

Shrimp fishing on horseback in Oostduinkerke? I think it’s one of these :D Procession of the Holy Blood in Bruges? Been there, done that, filmed that, it’s absolutely awesome. I should mention this list for further reference.

Some TV shows are fine, and I’m not even remotely interested in movies, so I can’t answer this one.

Of course. Even though I suck at history.

We have an awesome healthcare and social services. But also the biggest taxes because it has to be supported somehow XD but I don’t complain. My insurance covered the total cost of 33.000€ of my hospital costs and I didn’t pay even one cent.

Beer. We have, like, 3000 kinds of beer just in here. But we also like wine.

The Dutch and the French, of course. We even have a joke that says, if you want to hide your money from a French person, put it under the soap bar. XD

It’s twisted. I was born here, but to parents of different nationalities and I’m bilingual and have double citizenship.

I don’t thin it has ever been portrayed in Hollywood and I’m happy for that.

Well, we’re not that much fond of Wallons, I’m talking about Flemish people in general. Too big difference.

[Showers] When taking a shower, does your hair become straight or is it still somewhat curly (if your hair is curly)?

It only becomes curly when wet, normally it’s wavy.

What kind of shower/bath would you have if you could have any shower/bath in the world?

Just shower and bath.

Do you use expensive or cheap shampoos, and does it matter either way?

It doesn’t matter to me. Some brands I use are cheaper, but good. And I tend to choose things that smell really nice.

What kind of shower head do you have?

We have two. One is detachable and one is attached.

Do you ever burn your skin while taking a shower?

No, and I prefer hot showers.

[Toxic Relationships] Have you ever been in a relationship (romantic or not) that was considered toxic, and who was that person and how were/are they toxic to you?

Yes, with my ex. He was triggering my anxiety and his way of showing feelings to me was totally ambiguous. I’ve also had a toxic friend in the past. She’s been trying to lead me on, to put me in some kind of love triangle between herself, me and her boyfriend, despite me and him not being fond of each other. It was a very uncomfortable situation, especially that I’m not even remotely attracted to women.

Do you know anyone who has been in a toxic relationship, and what made that relationship toxic?

My parents, kind of. They’ve been married for 33 years and there’s not even a single day when they don’t argue at all.

How you do feel about people going back to their toxic relationships, and can you relate or do you find them dumb for ever considering to go back?

I don’t judge people, but I can’t understand what motivates them to get back into relationships that were damaging them.

What kind of toxic relationships do you find more damaging: Romantic, friendship, or family member?

All of them. Toxic is toxic, no matter what it’s based on.

Now, out of these options, which do you find the most damaging: Physical, emotional, or verbal?

Again, all of them. Anything can be unhealthy and toxic, but anything can be beautiful as well.

Adult cartoons, if ever. With some exceptions.

I don’t, I just don’t.

[Cultures] Out of all the cultures in the world, what culture do you find the most interesting?

I have a thing for studying about Arabic culture, even though I wouldn’t want to live anywhere there, and of course European cultures.

If you get rid of one culture in the world, what culture would you rid of?

Any that is disrespectful.

What is your culture like, do you like your culture, and do you even follow your culture at all?

Our culture is divided in two, French-speakers anf Dutch-speakers are different. Our culture is based on fries, beer, chocolate and waffles. (I constantly forget about cuberdons, probably because I’ve never liked them). We are the country that Smurfs and Lucky Luke come from, among others (what about Tintin and Marsupilami?). In our culture, you have to be invited by your friend to their house, just stopping by is considered impolite. There are many things in here that I would take long time mentioning.

Do you have friends of different cultures?

Yes, a few Arabs, a few Polish people, a few French, a Portuguese, a Russian, a Ukrainian, a few Romanians, a few Moldavians etc.

Are there any cultures that are very similar to yours, and how about the most different?

We are made of a mix of French and Dutch culture, turned into our own, and the most different are ones that are non-European, I think.
