I also wanna say I in no way support christian potenza after reading more about the allegations and fully believe Terry will be an amazing replacement!! Would like to point out that the allegations against potenza are pretty heavy so if you wanna look it up just be prepared.

hello!! ik I've been dead but I'm ressurecting myself to let you guys know we got TWO official english trailers for the new season!!

some quick thoughts:

-The season seems to just be called "total drama island" which is...interesting to say the least lol

-Chris's voice is definitely different. Unsure if it's a different VA entirely or if Chris's voice has just changed over the years, but I would like to note Christian Potenza is NOT listed as working on this project as far as I can tell

-I do really like the rest of the voice acting/character designs so far -This seems to take place at Wawanakwa so I'm assuming we're going for a full reboot....or

-Chef is in his Dramarama outfit, so it's possible this could take place in that universe(?)

Either way very excited to see the new season! Hope everyone is doing well! :)

I have a self indulgent fan theory that the new cast are all kids of past contestants so here’s what I’ve got so far but a couple of them have me stumped

I feel like “scary girl” could also def be a child of the goths from ridonculous race but I’m self indulgent lol

Some weird things that just exist in the total drama universe apparently:

- Aliens, which are not in Area 51 but seem to come and go as they please

- Dinosaurs

- Sentient sharks. They have a union.

- Sasquatch and Yetis.

- Raccoons have their own secret society.

- Human/Plant breeding is possible and has happened so theirs just a freakish human/plant hybrid child running around why is nobody talking about this

I’m probably forgetting a lot , this is just the stuff off the top of my head.

When Gwen was eliminated in world tour (while having an allergic reaction) Duncan finds out and is FURIOUS. He’s screaming at Chris about how he could’ve killed her and Alejandro actually has to hold him back. He knows how bad her allergies are and is panicking the whole way to their next destination. As soon as they land Duncan breaks away to find a pay phone and frantically calls her cellphone (he has her number memorized). She picks up after a painful amount of time and Duncan doesn’t even know what to say at first, he’s just so happy to hear her voice. He’s trying not to be too sappy but is falling all over his words, trying to ask how she’s feeling while simultaneously trying to apologize and explain what happened that day. Gwen just laughs and reassures him that she’s fine and that she found out that his “crying” over Courtney was just another one of Alejandro’s horrible plans. He doesn’t even know what to say, and deep down he knows he wants to tell her he loves her. Instead he tells her he’ll win for her and finally get her that car she’s always wanted; his own way of telling her “I love you.” He can’t see her but he knows she’s flustered and he can hear Chris accusing him of running off again, so he tells her to get some rest and that he’ll win for her, and she tells him that she’s rooting for him, always.
