I was feeling very excited about people seeing my blazed post, and drawing is a good output for that excess energy. So. Uh, here’s me fiddling with a quicker way to get face proportions. Do I know who I intend to turn it into? No. Do i care? Also no. Drawing fun :3

Thought exercise

So, Caleb Hyles released the song Idolize a few days ago. And it hit very close to home. And I was listening to it again and one of the lyrics gave me this idea. The hopelessness of someone growing up in this kind of world and how terrifying it is that we are just numbers in a way. A bit of a ramble about design choices below

Okay, So. I went with a more simplistic style. One, because I didn’t want to lose the idea. And two, there’s a lot of callbacks to my earlier art style. The hands are circles and I didn’t draw feet are the most obvious. And the proportions being funky of course. 

Another reason is that I’ve grown since I started posting things online. So it was an acknowledgement of that too. 

The 100 pound weight is a joke about it being 1′s and 0′s. And from there I used the way I usually drew? Like, the nose is more dense with numbers because I tend to spend time there. The clothes inside are 0′s because I leave them blank or a solid color unless I’m doing full shading.

And the last part. The x over the mouth and chains. That goes back to the trapped feeling. To be online is to be tracked. So, I bound the representation of myself. The free flowing numbers are going to a vague box in the corner representing the vast internet.

Okay, so. Ignore the left eye. I hate it but if I mess with it further I may cry. Anyways, my hatred aside ima talk about ✨her✨

So. Uh, if you follow my writing blog, my recent prompt fill features this lovely lady, Aria. I was originally going to mess with wrinkles around her eyes cause she’s fucking old as shit. Somewhere around 2500years depending on my mood cause I play fast and loose with canon. But as stated above, her eyes have driven me up a wall. So it got scraped.

She was born around the time of the dinosaurs, without a bonded. (There should be another prompt fill on my writing blog that goes more in depth). But she’s fucking op as shit. She can speak any language. Human, animal, dead, living languages. Plus, she can invade peoples minds. Very badass , very cool. Human before human (Zeldurian sapien).

Now, I decide to play around a bit with her design. Been a while since I drew her and I wanted to get a bit closer to how she looks in my head since my artistic skill has evolved a bit more. So, her legs got more muscular. I wanted a mesh between runner’s and ballerina’s leg muscle tone. So she ended up with thicker thighs and slimmer calves. Cause she can do many things. I missed the past three days due to no time so I combined them with today!

So the story behind this is sort of related to a series of dreams? So this is a ship crash that this group have been living in since they all have nowhere to go. And then they get found. So this is them when they have been found for the first time since the crash.

(The human is supposed to have white hair due to stress but I didn’t want it to look incomplete)
