just a vent Seriously people who get mad when they don't get accepted for trades or OTAs Stop getting mad that someone doesn't accept your offer, people are allowed too tell you NO and decline. If someone is selling an adopt as OTA and say money is priority and OC trade is least interest, don't get mad they accept the $$ or art over a character. If a person is accepting characters and only accepting a certain type of character say humanoids and you offer a feral don't get uppity when they reject you. If they are asking for something LOOK at what they want and what they draw.

Basic common sense and decency but 'entitled' people usually lack both.

also with the AI sellers if they have not tagged their crap, they can lose all money they make from the AI work apparently. So if you see them hide AI behind a paywall and there are no signs of them using"made with AI" tag then definitely report. Though when filling a report through the helpdesk some dA mods are much more reliable and will be more likely to forward tickets then others in my experience

That's another problem I have with Deviantart. Blurring art that's behind a paywall or hiding art from non-subscribers just provides a whole new way for thieves to profit.

If you see unmarked AI art on dA please PLEASE send a ticket. Also if they are selling through dA (using dA adopt/shop widget) and have not marked it as AI you can hit the ... / report button and there is an option to report unmarked AI works being sold.

If you see an AI user selling/making AI NSFW or fetish art of a celeb (big time or even small tine youtuber) it can be reported and you can get them banned.

As shitty as dA and it's staff can be, the site works more on user reports. So if you see something that breaks the rules, report. If the on deviantion report button doesn't work, it means their idiotic bot failed it's job. Go to the help desk and file a ticket with the offending work. That usually will do the job. Because the bot often fails at dealing with violations. Explain that it is a violation, link the image and tell them there must have been an error. Explain why it is a violation according too the rules. More explaination the better

Also if you see a harassment post etc, report it too the victim. DA won't take 3rd party reports.

Side note PSA/Beware etc should be backed up and preferably hosted offsite. Even if it is serious like zoophile or groomer. It's still against dA rules to callout anyone. If your valid beware gets removed it is not the staff defending but the person you called out reporting you for harassment/breaking rules on dA (even google docs can be reported now)

Excellent advice, anon. I'm hopeful that people will begin to look out for people deceiving others using AI and take action.

I love and hate when generic ass adopts go for big bucks just because the advert is drawn well.

Id love to see peoples faces when they sit down to draw their $200 bland AF oc, or pay to have it drawn and they realize they dropped real money for an adopt that doesn't actually have a real distinguishing look.

Hi, I'm someone who used to hang out with a certain person who's been implicated in the Floraverse stuff and it's been beyond demoralizing to see a lot of people I've trusted just Nazijacket and call the victims out as KiwiFarms users and this is honestly helping me realize why a lot of them defended a few abusers in the community and label any of these victims as pushing "bad vibes" to their "uwu good vibes only" community.

This blog has been healing to read and I'd like to share a space with like minded people like you who won't tolerate abuse like this.

Are you kink friendly but just hate zoophiles and pedos? I can roll with that if you're still kink friendly as long as we agree that zoophiles, pedos, and Nazis all suck.

I don't care what adults do with informed consent with each other so long as no one is abusing each other. I don't care how 'weird' it might seem, I think people are at their best when they're true to themselves.

On this blog I pretty strictly talk about the abuse Floraverse has inflicted on people and the zoophilia and pedophilia. (Nazi's suck too, but that's a line Flora hasn't ever crossed, so it hasn't come up.)

The topic of kink culture really only ever comes up when it is related to the abuse.

The main examples of this are:

Because Glip let their cat perform oral sex on them, their drawn zoo porn in the past is more then just drawings.

Because Glip has groomed minors so their self-admitted grooming fetish and the fact they wrote an entire arc of their self insert grooming and having sex with a child in pmd-e is more then just drawings and bad writing.

I criticize Samael for forcing a character used in a significant amount of fat fur kink art in undertale because I don't think it's appropriate to force a project to become associated with a kink community if that project wants to be for all ages. Not because I think farfurs are weird or that the kink art of that oc is bad. It's just, you know, there's a time and place for involving fetish material and characters.

I also criticize Samael for commissioning porn of an OC who is a child and not informing the artists that the OC is a child, mainly because I see it as a violation of informed consent.

I criticize Eevee for her game foxflux which is a transformation fetish game. I don't care that it's a TF game, but I don't think it's okay that it's a TF game that she also markets to all ages. Nor do I like the fact Eevee justifies this grooming behavior with "2B has a fat ass and people were okay with that".

That said, I am personally not a fan of shota/loli/cub/feral. But I would rather shoot myself then discuss the ethics of either on this platform. This is for 2 main reasons. 1. It will distract from the main topic of this blog. 2. I am in my late twenties with a full time job.

I am also not involved in any kink culture, and am admittedly pretty ignorant on it. So some times I may phrase things weirdly when the topic does come up.

This is a really longwinded way of saying I consider myself to be kink friendly, and try my best to explicitly come across as such. But sometimes people can miss the points I'm trying to make and perceive it as kink shaming either because they missed the point or because I explained my point poorly because of my own ignorance. I try my best, and I know I'm not perfect, but when I mess up I'm willing to learn.

There’s one person Im mutuals with who got a character in a design trade and they never finished their part for the other person and they blocked eachother and then they sold the design they got for actual USD which was fucking awful but I don’t have the guts to confront them

If you didn’t pay money for the character please don’t sell it for more than it’s worth, sell it for the same price the character you traded it for is worth and only make it more if it has extra art you added after you obtained it

Replying to the lawsuit suggestion: I went to state court over criminal stalking that was occurring on toyhouse and the judges themselves suggested that filing a lawsuit against toyhouse for not upholding their code of conduct and allowing malicious activity to occur is 100% reasonable. Toyhouse is legally liable for malicious activity if they refuse to address it.
