Random Resident Evil: Death island thoughts, spoilers ahead!

1// The plot's not too fancy, lots of exposition, but I honestly wasn't expecting like anything fancy , just a good time packed with action lol

2// When Leon did that whimper noise after he threw the flash grenade (?) to help Jill escape. My heart.

3// When Maria and him were fighting, I really enjoyed that fight scene.

4// Still not too sure why the villain had to go through so much trouble just to prove a point? Wasn't there any point when he was executing his plan that he stopped to think, man, what the hell am I doing?

5// Can't believe everybody let Dylan finish his exposition when he was trying to call everyone out lol. I thought he was going to have some tea on the government but there wasn't anything.

6// On the plus side, Jill, Chris, Claire, and Leon are heckin' strong man. They get thrown everywhere and they just roll up and continue their business.

7// Random plasma guns and bazookas appearing everywhere, that honestly was on brand.

8// The shot with the giant fish monster thing was pretty cool though.

9// The movie feels a bit washed out for some reason? I keep seeing amazing GIFs out there so am pretty shook to realise how washed out the actual movie is.

10// Man, Rebecca is amazing but I think the part where she and Claire had to do the computer thing, the writers didn't know what to do with both of them and they both looked a bit awkward sometimes.

11// Tbh I thought Leon would be more shaken up when he accidentally killed Maria. I mean, she was aiming to kill him so tit for tat, but the quip at the end felt really off.

12// Leon's humour though, really loved the scenes with him and Jill. They work really well together.

At this point, I'm just drawing Reigen as he's easiest to draw when I test out some colouring and drawing techniques. But I don't know if I'm losing his essence? I'm not sure.

The kids aren't alright

Very self indulgent experimental drawing after watching a short clip of Pet Sematary, and mixing it with the question of 'what if the squad got resurrected wrong?'. Like everyone's still alive but Guren feels this ever widening gap with these people he calls family and he doesn't know why. He can't tell them what happened either because they'll die immediately if they know about their resurrection.

Shinya figures something is wrong and begs Guren to tell him what happened. But Guren can't .
