Deleted Scene From Crimes of Grindelwald

Newt: So, why did you sent me to New York?

Albus: Because I knew Grindelwald would try to catch Credence. He had a vision you see, many years ago. In which an obscurial killed the man he fears above all the others.

Yes, this was an actual scene. They shoot it and then SOMEHOW decided to delete it.

Like WHY?!?

So like this scene is absolutely amazing since it tells about their past. The vision Albus is talking, Gellert probably had it in the summer of 1899. And shared it with Albus imidiatly. He must have got really worried about losing Albus since it also could have been Ariana. And after all those years when another obscurial came out. He must have got worried again. And like, what if Gellert didn't want to kill Credence but instead he took him to his side to take an eye on him. So that he could prevent an obscurial killing Albus.

AND even more importantly no matter after all those years Albus still didn't hesitate to think that Gellert would go after something that might kill or harm Albus in any way.

Like. The scene is so fucking perfect.

Of course not, they are just friends.

Because it is totally regular normal tipical activities for friends to:

Put their hands on eachothers hearts in the middle of a battle and stand while listening to eachothers heartbeats

Just look at eachothers eyes while no one sees them

Wearing the tie that they bought years ago to the café date

Being jealous of eachother

Saying "who will love you now" after they turn their back on you

But saying "i was never your enemy, then or now" right after it, looking right into his eyes while bunch of people watch

Literally saying that you were in love with them

Making a blood pact that actually binds them together

And spending a whole summer doing, suspicious activities ;)

I mean it is totally normal

Obviously just regular activities you do with your friends

Grindeldore Headcanon #8

After Gellert and Albus broke up, Gellert knew he had to move on, because Albus was the only person he had, and after losing him, all he had left was the greater good, so he knew he had to focus on that.

But Gellert also knew that he was never gonna be able to forget Albus, forget that summer, he knew it was impossible for him to stop loving Albus.

He also knew that he had to. He had to if he wanted to focus on the greater good. So he had to bury his feelings, deep down to his heart.

But he never actually moved on, he never left Albus behind, he knew that he needed Albus. So when he created a symbol. He wanted it to have Albus in it too.

And he wanted it to be something that Albus would understand. Since Albus used the deathly hallows symbol as his names initial, Gellert decided to use it that way, so he added the symbol right in the middle of his name.

Gellert never moved on, he never stopped loving Albus. And he never stopped hoping that one day, Albus will return to his side.

So he buried Albus' name into his symbol just like he buried his feelings deep down into his heart

Albus was always a part of Gellert's plans. He was always right in the middle of it.

And Gellert always carried Albus in the middle of his symbol, in the middle of his plans,

And right in the middle of his heart...

Why Gellert wanted Albus Dead?

It is the most obVious thing in this world that ofcourse Gellert and Albus both purely loved each other till their last breath, committed to each other for eternity. But why in the time span of their tragic parting in that beautiful summer till the Duel in Bhutan, Gellert wanted to kill Albus? Why?

I think I know exactly why. Albus was his weakness.

He simply just didn't wanted to love him

but he can't help but to love him all the same. He didn't wanted to feel any love for the person who HE *thinks* has abandoned him, disappointed him, left him alone, one who once swore his lifelong commitment and now stood in path of his goals as greatest obstacle. Though, no doubt, he had a huge heart in which his love was so deep down buried that it didn't surfaced until his intimate touch with Albus during duel in Bhutan. His brain was tampered with lust of power and need to reshape the world for what he thinks is greater good, so he never realised that his only need was loving Albus, not the people of greater world.

You see, it was easy for him to assume that he can plot Albus's death while not seeing him die in front of him, easy not to know how Albus died, not to know see him taking his last breath, not be present there to realise he's gone forever. He asked others to his bidding, partly because of blood troth, partly because he thought it was the easy simple way. It was all his brain making wrong evil decisions, not exactly his heart. He was foolish enough to think that he can bear to live in a world without Albus, which he thankfully realised later that it's obviously not the case (when he felt Albus's heartbeat which he can't bear to loose). But as Dumbledore always preached, Love won. His soul was saved along with countless others.

Being a villian made him do unspeakable evils so it wouldn't have been an exception to take one another life. He didn't want to be associated with any feeling of belonging because it hurts more than anything to be heartbroken and alone (their tragic story hurts us too, soo very much indeed). So his villian brain decided not to love anyone, but a heart that has loved and felt so intense love of someone as pure as Albus, his heart prevented him doing that, overpowering his foolish decision to turn a blind eye to love.
