I can't believe Stokely Hathaway hired Jack Perry to beat up Tony Khan.

I wish WWE was open to working with other promotions because they could have a reoccurring bit of R-Truth “accidentally” showing up at shows and Miz having to come get him. Imagine Tony Khan trying to explain to Truth that this is AEW and Matt and Nick Jackson walk up and Truth refers to them as The Hardy Boyz or Truth at NJPW and he sees Moxley and he’s like “Where’s the rest of the Shield” or he shows up in TNA and sees Jordynne Grace and is like “Beth Phoenix! It’s been a long time!”

Fun fact*: I may not have watched° WWE since 2018, but if you ask me who my favorite wrestler is in the women's division of any promotion, I'm telling you it's Asuka.
* Facts are not guaranteed to be fun.
° Meaning I wasn't sitting down to watch Raw/Smackdown. When I was going on Reddit, I would catch clips of things if it seemed interesting.

Alright, if this somehow gets any traction over the next week (which I doubt. I'm, like, nobody), I'll make a Part 2.
This is in no small part because Joepunk did not occur to me at all, and I am so disappointed in myself.

I'm pretty sure Penta has some kind of hidden power meter that gets charged every time he does his "Cero Miedo" taunt.

We need more dramatic face/heel turns in wrestling that utilize the kiss of death/bacio della mort.
And I'm not just saying this because the scene from The Godfather Part 2 is one of my favorite moments from any movie.
youtube
I'm also not just saying it because wrestling needs more people kissing.

Sting taking off a Sting mask will always be one of my favorite silly moments in wrestling that is always played straight.
I don't remember if I've mentioned this before, but I love it, so I don't really care lol

I don't really like the use of the word "tribalist" when it comes to the aggressive AEW/WWE fan nonsense. That being said--
The absolute absurdity of the pro-WWE/anti-AEW fanbase of wrestling is something else.
I see posts all the time talking about how "Dean Ambrose needs to come back home."
It, at best, suggests that these fans don't actually care about the performers. They just want to make sure the branding that they're loyal to is still the one on top.
Like this blatantly ignores the fact that Mox has been very open about how unhappy he was at WWE, and that he was going to leave regardless.
"Whether AEW exists or not, I was still leaving WWE. It was good to know the wrestling business was doing so well outside of WWE, but even if it wasn't, I still would have left. If there was no other promotions to work for in the world, I still would have left WWE. If there were no other wrestlers, I would have just started my own promotion, started my own training school and trained my own opponents. I would have re-seeded the wrestling business from scratch if I had to. But the timing of it is just so crazy."
“The timing of it was crazy. I was gone one way or another. I was going to give it all up. I didn’t give a f— if I was never on TV again. I’d go wrestle in a f—ing mask in Mexico in a parking lot if it means having fun again.”
I see people all the time talking about how they can't believe that Mox decided to walk away from WWE and all the money. Motherfucker, the man has said he didn't care about that. He was miserable.
He's also clearly enjoying himself with all of the extra stuff he's been able to do. Man wanted to wrestle in the G1. He did, and he was undefeated until he went up against The True Ace, Yano Toru.
The man just wants to go out and wrestle. He's one of the few out there who can (and has) just shown up to whatever indie promotion to just wrestle.
Let the man be happy ffs

Do people not know that "Elevated" has "Ospreay" chants as part of the song? Because I've seen comments on Instagram suggesting some people don't.
The chants aren't piped in, but they aren't 100% the audience. The intent behind the chant in the song is also obviously to get the crowd to do it, too. And you can tell when the crowd is doing it, too.
That said, regardless of the authenticity of the chant, bruv is fucking over. The fans in Japan loved his absurd flippy shit. The AEW crowds love his absurd flippy shit. I love his absurd flippy shit. And he's endearingly dorky enough to be a top babyface without the problems of being a canonically horrible person and possibly vampire who spent two weeks in a casket in London.
