As humans we love zoos probably because we can do to these animals what our bosses and higher ups do to us. While we pace at our cubicles and they’re leering nastily at us. Move fast move harder push yourself. We get to stand greedily and not be the one confined. By obstructive rules with no end & no meaning. bureaucracy for the sake of itself. That stupid fucking snake eating itself. If desire is a wound and all our motivations derive from that… what’s the fucking point of it all. Once you receive the thing and the chase has finally passed it doesn’t mean anything to you anymore. You got it. What else will you desire? To yearn you must be lacking. I think of ways I’ve confined by self to yearn to be cared for. I have such tender skin I dream about tearing it open ferociously like a lion eating itself. I still want to die in spite of doing everything to keep myself alive.
