So sorry for my sudden disappearance when I had just gotten back from an amazing trip and a small hiatus! I had to deal with something IRL and this specific matter cost me the loss of someone I used to consider a dear friend and someone that I used to admire a lot. I need to clarify that is not someone from here (in case anyone here wonders that lol) it’s someone that used to be in my circle of friends IRL and after the said situation, I was just really sad and I didn’t feel like being here. My mood to write was totally gone so this is why I wasn’t here. But things are getting better now so I should go back into writing in my free time!

I just finished read about Nehemia’s death and i am very sad and kinda angry about it. I know that narrative/plot wise something needs to happen for the protagonist to actually do something to make the story move forward but . . . killing Nehemia was really necessary?

I just finished Iron Widow and I will accept NO CRITIQUE of this book. It is amazing. I love having a strong yet unhinged female lead who dives straight into a villain arch. I love the discussions of gender and misogyny. I love the references to real people in Chinese history. I love the nods to Chinese mythology. I love the true love triangle that turns into a poly partnership. I love the twist at the end. I 👏🏻 love 👏🏻 all 👏🏻 of 👏🏻 it 👏🏻. I cannot wait to read Heavenly Tyrant!!!!
