Before we start, I I want to mention that I received this for free to review. But all opinions are 100% my own :)
______________________________________________________________
I tried the concealer creme in L5 and L7. L5 has a neutral undertone, and L7 has a warm. My complexion is more warm than neutral, but I decided to give L5 a try anyways. Th difference between L5 and L7 matters since my shade tends to change when I'm home at foggy San Francisco, vs when I'm in college where the sun shines wide :) The Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème is very long wearing, lasting from when I apply my makeup from 8 in the morning to when I come back from work/campus at 6 pm. The concealer creme has full coverage, and is able to cover up my minimal acne without any problem, without an corrector needed. I also have terrible undereye circles, which this concealer is able to cover. All in all, I'm very impressed with the KVD Lock-It concealer, and throughout this trial, it has managed to worm its way into my daily makeup routine. On some occasions, I have worn the concealer past 6pm, into midnight. However, even though the details part mentioned a 24hr wear, I did see a bit of creasing after 12 or so hours. I'm not sure if this is due to me using too much, but I did noticed that a little goes a long way when using this concealer.
______________________________________________________________
The Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder is very finely milled, so in my opinion, this is already a very nice setting powder. It locks the concealer in place, and like the concealer creme, it lasted me the whole day, while keeping me oil free and matte from morning to night. No creasing. It's not exactly translucent as it does have color to it, but it isn't heavy. However, using too much will leave a whitecast, which I learned the first time lol. After that, I learned to use it sparingly, since a little goes a long way for the KVD Lock-It setting powder.
______________________________________________________________
I really like this new Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush...for contouring. It doesn't really go with the Lock-it Concealing Creme that it came out with, due to the fact that the bristles are dense but the creme is thick. As a result, the brush doesn't match up to a beauty blender when using the Lock-It Concealer Creme.
With that out of the way, the brush is honestly great with cream contouring. It is a quality brush, with a nice weight, soft bristles, and it doesn't lift or move things around that shouldn't be moved around. It is very precise. Its small head allows for greater precision under the eye and greater contouring around the nose.
______________________________________________________________
Like the title says, this brush isn't dense enough to grasp onto the loose powder, so it really doesn't pick up enough powder to my face. It's very fluffy, and I ironically find that it's great for brushing off excess powder. That gained the brush one star. It also got another star for not shedding and washing well. It didn't shed when I using brushing it on my face, nor when washing it.

I got the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator from Influenster to review back in June, which was perfect to experiement wtih during my July trip to Hawaii! This glow stick quickly became a favorite in my makeup bag due to its sheer coverage and soft shimmer. When I saw the online swatches, I originally thought the glow stick would be too shimmery for me to wear everyday. But not really :) It's a soft shimmer that is buildable, which make it perfect for any occasion. It's perfect for a subtle summer glow, and it was the most perfecct highlighter for me to use in Hawaii. I usually dab with my fingers, so daylight touring was just one or two swipes of my fingers on my cheeks, brows, nose, and neck line. However, I also wore this during the night market and for evening luau, and oh my god, it worked wonders, especially at the luaua. We had a huge fire going, and the highlighter has the perfect amount of shine my face to make me glow, even without the sun.
The previous highlighter that I have been religiously using before this one was the Benefit Watts Up, but the Marc Jacobs is a seriously contender to replacing my favorite highlighter. As of right now, I’ve back to college, doing summer classes, so I’ll be experimenting the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick for the future :)
Last but not least, I want to thank MarcJacobBeauty and Influenster for this complimentary gift!

Hey Lovelies! Recently, I got to try the new YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer in Violet. First off, I have to say I love the packaging, which YSL is known for. As you can see above, my pen was a metallic, pastel kind of color and it honestly look gorgeous. I called it a “pen” because I can click that black nub at the end until liquid comes onto the brush, and then dab or swipe the neutralizer onto the area I want to correct. In the past, I’ve only have powder corrector, so this was definitely a bit different. This neutralizer is a creamy, bendable formula that I can add onto, and the slim shape allows for more precision.
During my first time, I added about 5 dabs onto the same area, and I realized that a little of this neutralizer goes a long way. The neutralizer that came in Violet is really pearly toned, and gives my skin a really nice brightening effect. However, I think this product is best for fair skin, but I did notice that my face looked smoother and brighter on the sections where I applied the violet neutralizer, which makes sense since violet cancel out yellow skin and make it “colorless.” i like to dab this below my brow arch, on the bridge of my nose, the highbones of my cheeks, a little under my eyes to cancel out the yellow, and on my cupid’s bow.
All in all, I give this product a 4.5/5, and I would use it again. Sephora is currently selling this for $48 or so, so the price definitely brings down my score since my NYX correcting powder pallete does the same thing for a cheaper price. However, this pen is a lot easier to control where I want the neutralizer to go, and I already ordered the green YSL neutralizer from Sephora since I’ve heard extremely good reviews about .
I do want to say that I got this product for free to review, but, you guys, my opinions are 100% my own, so you can trust me ;)

Hey guys!! Check out what I got in he mail today!! They’re the new Soft and Chewy Ropes from Sweetarts! I got two packs: a big one to share and a small one to eat by myself lol. So I tried the small bag already. There was four ropes inside when I open it. It was also really oily! But the ropes actaully are a good snack to chew on mindlessly. The outside is a red licorice string shaed like a straw. The middle is this pink bubblegum looking part, and at first I really thought it was gum! But dont worry guys! i took at chance and it was just candy. I guess thats the soft part. So I just want to mention that I got this product for free to review as courtesy from Smiley360. However, all opinions are my own and are from my heart!! Here’s a link to check them out if you’re interested!

Hey guys, it's me again! Guess what I got in the mail recently?! It a sample of the o.b pro-comfort tampons. I used it for me last period, and this is what I think about this particular tampon: The clear-wrap packaging was a bit difficult to open, since it separates into three parts. However, this tampon is very tightly packed, so it was very small, and very easy to pit in. the length of this was about 3/4 of my index finger, so it was quite small. But don't let the small fool you like it fooled me. This can absorb a lot, was I was very glad for. All in all, I would recommend. (I got this as a free product to try from the Smiley360 team, but all opnions are my own.)

Hi guys!  I’ll be sharing my view of Chapstick Hydration Lock, Moisturize and Renew. What I like about this product is how it actually works. I’ve been using this for a week, or so, and I feel like it has made my lips so soft, and all. The way I use this dual-ended chapstick is that…I use the “renew” side in the morning, along with my makeup. And throughout the day, when my lips feel dry, I use the other end, the “moisturize” end.
I really like how when I use this chapstick, I can feel the effect instantly. Like, I just need to put it on, and voila, my lips don’t feel dry and hard anymore. I also like how this chapstick have no taste whatsoever. NO TASTE.  Usually, the chapsticks that I put on are fruity or minty. But this chapstick doesn't taste like anything.
This product is a free item I received from Smiley360, an online community.

Tips for makeup for beginners. What do you recommend good makeup to start with?
hola chica! I would say a good moisturizer, that will get your skin poppin before you have to put on foundation! same with eye cream! if you’re on a budget try First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream(oily skin) or their Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer(dry skin) because thats your primer too so BAM 2 IN ONE.Eye cream- Tarte, Fresh Rose Gel, Origins Ginzing, First Aid Beauty.. all decently priced! Fresh Rose Gel will last you longest because a little goes a long ass way.
Next you gotta get the brows on deck okay, most bang for your buck is going to be either a powder, or a pomade/gel. You can find these both from Anastasia, Tarte, or Make Up For Ever. I’m going to stick with those 3. Now powder& gel you will use an angled brush which is an extra expense but its an investment that will last you longer than buying like 80 powder replacements keep that in mind. I would say ABH Dip Brow($18) and her brush($18) or Tarte Mousse because it comes with brush($28) ABH is creamy & Tarte is dry and natural too tho! Go to Sephora, play and see what you like better. EVERYTHING is something you will have to get used to sooner or later so don’t even trip, you have to start somewhere.
Foundation is whateva, when your skincare is good, foundations don’t make that big of difference but there are definitely ones that last, look and feel better on. If you want more in depth I will tell you but I’M TRYING TO KEEP THIS SHORT (not working)
Eyeshadow, Holiday season is coming up and the palettes/sets are about to come flying out like crazy. When I see them I will tell you the good ones but VALUE wise: Tarte, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Stila, Buxom, Lorac, and Sephora Collection are always going to be the best. A lot of ish goes on sale after Christmas, and people get them as gifts and they say F this is ugly I’m returning it…. it goes on sale and you buy it! Thats more so like a waiting game though you have to stalk Sephora and see whats up with that.
ALSO lastly, this is a good time for eyeliner, lips, and mascara because Sephora comes out with sets compiled with 5-15 products from dif lines. There was a mini mascara set where you got 5minis and came back with the voucher for the one that you loved most and it was free. That set was $20. When they have larger sets you will get a ton of minis but for a really good price, oh and they come with like 1-2 full sizes but the value is great.
Remember too the sets are going to come out on line FIRST, stores wont get them for a week or so.. but that also depends. If you saw a set online but you don’t see it at sephora, just ask, they have to sell it to you if they have it because its out online sista.
ANYTHING ELSE JUST ASK ME!!!
OH and Friends&Family 20% is coming soon too so I’l let you guys know and I’ll give you guys codes!!!
