this also made me confront some stuff I’m stressed about basically all the time so I guess I needed this too

Selkie hates seeing anyone in any kind of pain. Being a kitsune, she is very attentive to her surroundings, and able to tell when anyone is sad or in your case, stressed. Seeing others around her with frowns on their faces puts a damper on Selkie’s day, and she’s not going to let anything ruin the day she’s going to enjoy! In fact, she’ll come over and try to turn that frown upside down! Prepare for one bouncy fox girl to bound over and if you want, hug you…okay, tackle hug you.

If you need to talk, Selkie will be right there! She’ll sit next to you, ears twitching with interest as you tell her about the things you’re doing. However, if you start rambling for too long about what you have to do, she’ll stop you. No point stressing yourself over something that hasn’t even happened yet! How about a game instead? Something fun!

You’re tired and don’t really wanna play? Good thing Selkie’s such a good snuggler! She’ll wrap you up in her fluffy tail and never let you go…at least not until you relax a bit. If you don’t really like physical contact, Selkie will still be right there for you, to “protect you from the bad stuff”. Even if you just need to cry, Selkie will be one of the first to hold her arms out and hug you while you cry. She’ll wipe your tears when you’re done crying, her playful personality replaced with something a bit more gentle. She understands that sometimes you just need to let it all out.

If you do wanna play, then how about a game of hide-and-seek, or maybe tag? Selkie’s wonderfully sunny outlook on life means that you should be having fun, and enjoying life for everything it is. That means the sunbeams shining warmly on your face, or the raindrops falling on the castle roof. Inside or out, Selkie will make sure that there’s always something to smile about.

With her tendency to always repay favors, Selkie understands you if you feel the need to always be perfect. If you get frustrated, she’ll remind you that even though you might not be perfect, it’s okay! No one’s perfect, and all you have to do is the best you can do at that moment! With her encouragement, hugs and radiant smiles, Selkie will make sure that stress is the last thing on your mind.

I’m not interested in the non-Disney characters, and the plot is a complete mess that makes ‘06’s plot look semi-comprehensible by comparison. And I rarely play RPG-type games aside from the likes of Paper Mario anyway.

I love original characters in general, because they’re so lovingly crafted. So much work goes into their design, stories, personality…it’s a reflection of hard work on the part of the creator. 

And I love it.

No matter the skill level, as long as it’s done with sincerity and with the desire to tell a good story, I really love OCs.

i received a series of DMs the other day telling me that a certain streamer is ‘not a good person’ and linking me to a bunch of call-outs about rape and sexual harassment with absolutely no context or warning - meaning that i opened this shit on my lunch-break at work when i was not even close to being in the headspace to deal with it

when i told them that they had just linked a survivor to a bunch of heavily triggering shit with no thought or warning, they tried to imply it was my fault because i don’t plaster the fact that i’m a survivor across my blog

listen. if you do this shit, it’s clear that you don’t give a shit about survivors.

if calling someone out is more important to you than actually protecting survivors, you’re only doing it in order to feel superior, you’re not doing it to actually help anyone
