Sea Salted Fluffernutter Filled Oatmeal Cookies and Cicero's First Philippic
Today we read a passage from Cicero's first Philippic, discussed Cicero's role in the triumviral period, and ate some delightful fluffernutter-oatmeal cookies made by Lisa.
The cookies. 聽Recipe taken from Bakeaholic Mama.
Lisa and Dr. G trying out the cookies. 聽Dr. G approves.
Rhiannon contemplating the nature of fluff.
Fluff. 聽One of the many reasons Ash is happy to have 聽made it to Friday.
We also read Latin, of course. 聽Despite Cicero's undeniably well-written prose, we have come to a consensus as a class that Cicero was kind of an obnoxious guy. 聽

The Fluff Papyrus
Alternate ending to Cornelius Nepos'聽Life of Atticus, from the recently deciphered Fluff Papyrus.
