sorry i haven't been here much, i probably wont be around on this blog a whole lot since i'm taking a little break from it right now and focusing on my tokusatsu multi & since i plan to bring back my old mythical creature multi but with new muses ( so i can get a break from my muses i have here for a little bit yknow? ).

" Now, what is it that you think you know about what I have or don't have to show for anything ? " Coldness is found in the tone of the king, yet if one knows to look for it then they can also place a hollowness in that same tone ( most miss that part entirely of course ).

The King radiates power, but it means nothing in the grand scheme of things. He can destroy anything he wants, which he does. He can meddle in time, which he does. He can manipulate those around him to do his bidding, which he does and will continue to do. Yet, none of this means anything, it's all a show of power and destruction, how far someone will go when they lose the people that makes them human and makes them feel like they can be good.

She speaks of grief and there's laughter to meet her ears, as a response to her words. " You think you can understand me ? You think that you have any idea of what I have felt, of what I have harbored ? " There's power rolling off of him, there's a glow to the red in his mask, one might even wonder if that red glow was in his very eyes underneath it all.

" You know nothing. You will know nothing . . . But perhaps death. "

There is nothing upbeat about him anymore, a smile and helping hand are no longer on the table. All that he has burning in him is rage and grief so powerful that he feels like he's drowning in it. There is endless power at his fingertips, the power of a king but he is not happy with it. He doesn't want this power, doesn't want to be a king, not like this. There is pain in his chest, there is agony to be found there ( one might find it embedded in his very soul too ).

Hands clench into fists at his side as Woz utters the words so quietly, not in a dramatic way. He wants to shove the words back down the others throat. This isn't what he wanted. THIS ISN'T WHAT HE WANTED. " If this is what you consider a victory then . . . I never want to win again. " Voice comes through as sharp and hollow at the same time, the kind of tone that has never been found in what was a kind hearted soul. Was.

" I didn't want it like this, Woz. Never like this. " He wanted to be a king, he wanted great power but he didn't want to have to lose the very people he cherished just to obtain it. " I am not happy. I am angry. I am enraged. " But not happy, not in the slightest.

He is grieving, he is sad and he is lonely, that's all he's ever been is lonely but people came into his life and filled the void where the loneliness sat and now they were dead and the loneliness came back home deep down. He still had Woz at his side but for how long ? Plus, Woz was a loyal follower, he'd be around no matter how this had played out. It feels wrong to think like that about someone he cares for but he's angry and his mind is pitting him against everyone.

" I said nobody wins, Woz. Nobody. " This is not a victory. Nobody won and he means that. Nobody would ever win. Never. He's spiraling into the worst mindset he could have. This isn't what Geiz would've wanted to see from him, Tsukuyomi too, they'd be disappointed in him. They can't be anything, they're dead.

" Nothing. " The word is harsh but true. " There is nothing you can do that will ever bring me happiness. Not now, not ever. Accept that. " That's an order.

" my overlord ... " woz pauses, as if it's not the answer he was expecting. the ohma zi-o he knows boasts of his power, scoffs in the face of armies come to face him & smites them down with a wave of his hand. though it is his overlord that stands here, he can still ... only see sougo. a saddened, hurt young man who turned to this path because of grief.

the prophet clutches the tome close to his chest, & approaches, to stand by the demon king's side.

" ... i want to say it's a victory, " it comes out as an admittance in a quiet voice, as if he is prepared to be reprimanded for saying something that goes against the others' words. " you are standing before me like this, & it seems that history will go down the proper path that i was sent here for. "

he lays out the facts, with no dramatic displays. he wraps his arms tighter to his chest, as if trying to keep his faith in the bound pages pressed between the locked cover.

" ... you do not seem happy that we have reached the final page. & though i want to say it is a victory, it does not feel like one. "

this grief ... to read it, to know what must happen for ohma zi-o's rise, that is one thing. to see it, to hear the tone in the voice of a usually upbeat young man, who he has truly & sincerely enjoyed his time beside. his loyal servant is not sure how to feel. " what ... what must i do to make you happy, my overlord? what can i do? " what can he do to make this so that it's right?ㅤㅤㅤ/ㅤㅤㅤ@floraesky, cont.
