I think the most fucked up thing about wall•e is that there's no way everyone on earth is on that axiom. Perhaps a few million, it is a big ship, but what I interpreted is that after B&L fucked the earth, the axiom was created to save only the most important people, and the majority of people on earth were left to slowly suffocate and starve because all the resources had run out.

Does so much for horny gay loser bitches everywhere.

Also really love how perfectly low-key this satirizes the US public school system. High school is a fucking joke. There's a whole party hell-bent on stripping schools of their funding and banning books and rewriting history and chasing away teachers who actually care about education. The anarchy in this school, the "library is closed, no reading this school year", the students being there because they're forced to when they're not learning anything, it's all hilarious but also damn close to reality. Fantastic satire.
