Update

Ok, guys, I can’t believe how many followers I still have here. But I owe it to you all still paying attention to this blog some sort of explanation, I think.

So, here’s the thing. I had some large issues at work and RL. It killed my motivation for this blog. I didn’t post anything because I kept telling myself I’d come back. But I didn’t and honestly, while things are calming down a bit in RL I still can’t say I have motivation for this or Fire Emblem anymore.

So, as it stands right now, there won’t be any real updates or any requests filled out. I won’t delete this blog or any requests.

(Revelations story anon) it's a pretty quick sad story, okay? So first I need to tell you that when I played birthright I had already married off my corrin by the time I got Izana, same for conquest because I don't know I could get him in that one, but the problem was I really have a thing for characters like Izana and I was so smitten. So I decided to marry him in a revelations play through, and so yeah I was devastated because you know, he basically drops dead as soon as you meet.

Oh I understand this feeling completely, anon. Izana in revelations is still one of my major complaints that is just a red flag on the poor writing that happened. Or just poor choices, imo. I hope you got to marry him anyway, in another route.

Oooh, here’s one - how Gunter, Jakob, Izana and Fuga take their signifigant others out for their lover’s birthday? How they treat them, where they go, etc?

Gunter

Gunter absolutely wants to do things over your birthday and while he respects you if you don't want to, he weasels in something like flowers or cake (given to you as romantically formal as he can)

If he can take you out, he's absolutely doing something at least a little over the top and absolutely shooting for romantic (which also means he'd prefer something just the two of you), a party is only if you want it

It'd be a wonderful dinner at a beautiful restaurant with a great scenic view, then a walk through the night, he might even find that giant ferris wheel to top off the "oozes romance" sort of deal

Also has an extravagant gift carefully thought over and hidden from you to surprise you with, and it's something you've been wanting

Jakob

Two options- a big ol' trip somewhere exciting or staying in

Either way he'd absolutely want to make a home cooked meal and dessert with some of your favorite foods

Jakob wouldn't really be big on material things unless he knows that's what you'd like, he'd much prefer to do something like give you a massage or a sauna day

That said, if you tell him something you want he'll absolutely do that to the best of his ability

Izana

You've given him an amazing reason to have the biggest, maddest, most superb party and he will be heartbroken if you don't want it (but will respect it)

He plans the whole thing (you're welcome to join him) and makes sure it's a fantastic location (that you can explore together before and after the party) and there's games and food and everything

You can expect so many gifts (some real, some you wanted, some maybe not for you, some silly) and he just wants to lavish you with attention and gifts

While the party is important to him there's still a lot of private time between the two of you to celebrate just the two of you because that's also super important to him

Fuga

Fuga secretly stresses a bit over birthdays- he's not big about his own (he just wants people to be happy for him on his birthday) so he's not sure what to do about yours

Even if he's stressing he's actually pretty good about getting a good gift

He'd love to travel around the land around the wind tribe, showing you all the beautiful places there are (though he'd be open to other places if you brought it up)

He would also want a small party for you, mostly because he can trust other people to make sure it's a good party and a good birthday since he's not sure what to do (but he helps and tries to hide how out of his element he is)

Please could you do sibiling headcannons for Either Corrin!Shiro and Ryoma!Kana or MaleCorrin!Nina and Niles!kana

Shiro and Kana

Shiro is a fantastic big brother and he's so good at dealing with his little brother and Kana spends the rest of his life looking up to his big brother no matter their age- Shiro loved Kana as soon as he was born (before he could actually see Kana, he didn't care one bit)

Their love and adoration for each other is stupidly obvious to anybody paying them half a mind, but they're also horrible little brats to each other and love to tease and prank each other

Play wrestling is a thing- one could just be minding their own business walking down a hall and the other comes from nowhere full speed tackle- they also enjoy sparring when they get older (Kana doesn't have the drive Shiro does to be better but he just enjoys it)

They're adored by the populace, both of them stupid amounts of charming (Kana especially, who not only got it from both his parents but is also naturally somebody people like whereas Shiro is charming in a leadership, intimidating way almost)

Nina and Kana

Nina has that phase where she's too cool for her baby sibling but also that's her sibling and you're not allowed to bother Kana

Nina does, however, love to impress her little sister and goes out of her way to always do the coolest thing- and will have the time of day for her little sister to try and use the cute baby to try and get with some dudes

Kana is the baby sister that thinks her older sister is the bees knees and absolutely demands to hang out with her cool sister- is also stupidly nosey and eventually is fully aware of her sister's interests/hobbies

Kana does better with the whole princess thing (whether Valla route or just being related to Corrin), managing the duties of that better and generally being more charming to the populace even if Nina is much more invested in the politics (maybe that's why Kana is better)

Can I have a Queen of Hoshido Kagero and her little baby Shiro?

Kagero smiled down at the babe in her arms. He was a beautiful plump boy, black wisps of hair soft on his head, face hidden in her chest. These were her favorite moments. When she could be Kagero, a mother or a wife or both, instead of a ninja or a queen. Shiro craned his head back to babble up at her, reaching one clumsy fist up to grab at her hair. "You're going to be troublesome, I just know it," she whispered. "Getting into all the places you shouldn't be, no regards to the reasons why you shouldn't be."

Shiro babbled at her some more, tugging on the hair. He obviously has opinions, and lungs. They'd hired a nanny from her village and he still somehow found a way to make her want to pull her hair out sometimes. Kagero absolutely blamed his father. She lifted the babe up to kiss at his forehead. Shiro chirped and burbled, reaching with his empty hand up to her face, giggling when she turned her kisses to his pudgy palm. He was a sponge for affection, and quick to give it. Much like his father in that regard, as well. She wondered sometimes what he got from her besides the hair.

She turned into a room, bouncing Shiro to distract him as she approached the little nest. His nannies knew he was with her, after his escape attempt, and she felt no guilt in keeping her child with her. Nor is she surprised to see Ryoma to the side, a cup of tea in hand and a document in the other. He glances up when she enters, watching her with their son. As she is rearranging the blankets Ryoma's hand wraps around her waist, looking over her shoulder at Shiro.

"I heard he got into trouble again." She hummed, finishing up by getting her hair out of the babe's fist and leaning back into Ryoma. "It's the ninja in him, you know."

"You might be confused, my king," she said with a small smile.

"It's not me. I was a model child, you know." Kagero can hear the teasing lilt to his voice and it makes the smile on her face grow.  

"I might have heard differently."

"Poor gossip to tackle my outstanding reputation," he assures, shifting around her to give Shiro's his fingers to play with. The boy takes them quickly, little fingers wrapping around Ryoma's fingers with intent, brows furrowed as he babbled furiously at his father's hand.

"You're right, of course. That was absolutely Lady Mikoto's intent." Kagero watches them both, a feeling of content she treasured filling her full. She hoped, sincerely hoped, that Lady Mikoto had seen this, somehow, with a vision. That she knew they were happy, that Hoshido was at peace, that Corrin was with them. She hoped Lady Mikoto saw it now, as she existed as a spirit to see her grandchildren growing and prospering.  

She blinked when she felt a kiss to her temple. She glanced up at Ryoma, lips pursed in question. "You looked... far away. Anything to share with your husband?"

Kagero knew he worried. With the change of her responsibilities, with motherhood, with a kingdom to care for and alliances to work on, the stress was real and heavy. With her habit of carrying it all on her own, Ryoma fretted. But she shook her head, for once none of that on her mind, and rested her head on his shoulder. "I am only marveling at this perfect moment," she admitted, reaching to tickle Shiro's foot and distracting him as Ryoma kissed her temple again.

The baby kicked, furiously stomping his feet as he let the fingers out of his mouth to yell at her as best he could in baby. She wanted to paint it, she thought. This moment. It was a silly thought, but she smiled to it anyway as she listened to her baby and husband converse and fight over fingers.

I know you like to write happy endings to things, so this'll be toned down from what I'd originally intended to ask ^^; Anyway, premise is this - Corrin in promo-material is joked about having bad taste in accessories... so that in mind, say she (going with fem on this one) wears an eyepatch-accessory after a battle one day and the Nohr royals mistakenly think she's lost an eye; what would their reaction be, and how would they feel about it after learning Corrin just made a poor fashion choice?

This implied you actually wanted Corrin to lose their eye, so I did one of both. I don’t mind angst, as long as it leads up to something hopeful and nice. And you can be happy even if you lose an eye.

Injury

Camilla is absolutely upset with everybody that Corrin was hurt to this extent and ends up even more overpowering and hovers around Corrin excessively

Xander is distraught, reminded again of all the years of Corrin in the fort and being unable to do anything, and while he doesn't want to make it worse he also has a deep-seated need to tend and care for them

Leo actually doesn't treat Corrin all that different- he understands it's a massive trauma but also refuses to believe it should actually impede them from their goals (and having Niles as a retainer is part of this honestly)

Elise does everything she can to stay optimistic about it, and to comfort Corrin through the trauma, trying to be supportive and find little silver linings through it all- anything to make Corrin smile

Fashion

Camilla sternly reprimands Corrin for the joke, considering how absolutely devastated she was at the start, but otherwise lets Corrin enjoy trying on even atrocious things

Xander is embarrassed at how badly he reacted to the prank, showing that to Corrin and any of the others, and explains to Corrin how it wasn't nice (doesn't mention the fashion unless they try to include him, honestly)

Leo is pissed about the prank and will bend Corrin's ear over it- he also makes a lot fo snide comments about their fashion choices

Elise is so relieved she can't really be angry, tho she might smack Corrin on the arm for it, and then demands an eye patch for herself as well

If it's alright, could I have some fluffy Selena/Hinata? These two are among my fav rarepair and I'm sad that I don't see much of them.

Selena comes off as incredibly no nonsense to Hinata's antics and requests, and yet anybody paying attention can see she caves actually kind of easily

They absolutely spend a lot of time sparring and dueling- both of them finding it incredibly attractive the challenge the other poses (or just watching the other practice)

Selena actually gets jealous of how Hinata responds to most women and it causes quite a few problems between them in the beginning- Selena has confidence and abandonment issues that rear their ugly head but they're able to work through it slowly (she's stubborn, and it takes a little bit for Hinata to learn to manage himself) and then there's her scathing remarks that sometimes hit too close to home for Hinata

Selena doesn’t like to admit it in earshot to Hinata, but she's totally enthralled by his arms and biceps, which means she really does adore cuddling and arm holding (but, again, she has a tough time admitting it and thus, has to wait for Hinata to initiate usually- thankfully he does regularly)

They’re the type to always flirt like a new couple, and worse, Selena forever gets overwhelmed by how forthright Hinata is in regards to her (she tries to play it off, but she always ends up the color of her mom’s hair anyway)

Saizo will never put his own feelings above his duties as Ryoma's retainer or over just what's better for Ryoma

This is a struggle for Ryoma, who definitely thinks at the very least there is room for compromise between the two on average

It causes strife between them at times, both of them terribly stubborn about it and Ryoma struggles in general trying to create less of a power imbalance between them

The relationship never really becomes what either of them wants, and they're both unfulfilled in certain aspects, but there's also strong emotions and a bond between them

Azura struggles with Subaki's perfectionism, and in her forthright way can seem like she's lashing out or dismissing him for it, which Subaki always takes hard

Subaki practices his dancing, wanting to dance with Azura if she will let him (and she's a little peeved how good he is so quickly)

Azura loves to go flying and secretly spoils Subaki's pegasus, refusing to admit that she does it (Subaki thinks it's cute)

Subaki absolutely loves Azura's hair and enjoys the mornings when he helps her sort her bedhead

Can I get some headcanons on cherche and m!robin as a couple please

It takes Robin forever to learn and read Cherche's snark and humor, and honestly, she's forever terrifying in a way (but it's hot)

Cherche isn't one to gush about her partner but Naga help the poor fool that badmouths her partner if she catches wind of it

Cherche actually has a large need to be active and to be doing something, something that can cause a strain on the relationship at times, especially as Robin is the type to overwork as well

She's alright with subtle public affection, but once in private she can become a lot more physically affectionate and very much enjoys cuddling and quick kisses

Hmm maybe possibly some Gerome and Morgan(or a son XD) father and son au??

I wasn’t sure if you wanted some sort of AU? Or if you were referring to Gerome with a son route? So, headcanons.

Gerome will always have massive abandonment issues and anxiety, and it effects his parenting which is something that just destroys him- but he hopes to do good enough at least so that Morgan never doubts that Gerome loves him

Morgan is incredibly intelligent and playful, and Gerome has absolutely zero tolerance for anybody that tries to stifle that or effect his child negatively (from teachers to other obnoxious children)

Gerome is more an animal person that runs a type of sanctuary and Morgan grows up surrounded by large, potentially dangerous animals (even in a modern AU, Minerva is a large predator that can't be returned to the wild)

Gerome absolutely cried when he held Morgan for the first time, overcome with so much emotion he had no idea how to process it at first

4. Elise marries Takumi and moves to Hoshido (again, I'm willing to consider them living elsewhere). How do Arthur and Effie get on with Takumi? what sort of relationship do Hinata and Oboro have with Elise? And, since somebody's moving, how are they coping?

Arthur

Arthur has no real issue with moving to Hoshido, Justice can exist anywhere, though there is the struggle of the judgement (especially in terms of status) but really, it’s not much to Arthur

Arthur is judgmental of Takumi, but only in the sense that he cares so much about Elise and it’s not hard for him to eventually accept Takumi 

Arthur gets along well with Hinata and they have a friendly relationship, even if they get a little exasperated with each other sometimes

Oboro and his relationship starts of extremely rocky, but he wins her over, even if she feels like she’s not got another puppy to babysit sometimes

Effie

She honestly could not care about moving to Hoshido and she goes with no complaint- it is harder than she thought it would, though, to live in a new place that doesn’t quite welcome her

Effie is suspicious of Takumi, knowing of his hatred for Nohr and knowing Elise is willing to overlook things because she’s so adamant in seeing the good of people, and she watches him

Effie enjoys Hinata’s company in the sense of training and sparring, though she has no patience for his antics or flirting and simply ignores all of that

Effie and Oboro eventually develop a sort of friendship and Effie finds herself supporting Oboro’s goals and it’s an easy relationship (they definitely bonded over their lieges and their deep loyalty to them)

Hinata

Hinata loves Elise right away, not even just because of his awkward giddiness around women, but just that she’s so sweet and fun

If they move to Nohr, he does struggle with the change and gets homesick a bit, but he’s always loved adventure and wanted to travel and explore, so he deals with the homesickness and moves on

Hinata enjoys Arthur and his weird antics, even sort of encourages the shenanigans though he ends up having to bail Arthur out of a lot of clumsy mistakes (reminds him of working with Setsuna)

Hinata enjoys sparring against Effie and sharing meals with her (not the sharing of actual food because she’d stab his hand) but it doesn’t ever go very far past a friendly work relationship

Oboro

Oboro actually resents how easy it is to like Elise and it does take her a while to warm up to her, at all, but it happens and she finds herself even protective of Elise a bit

Moving to Nohr is very difficult on Oboro, and she does it and it even shows her more about how not all of Nohr is full of monsters, but eventually Takumi would send her back to start her clothes shop again because as much as she loves serving Takumi she is not happy there

Oboro spends a lot of time sighing and rolling her eyes at Arthur (and snapping at Hinata if he’s around too) but her annoyance isn’t really hostile after she accepts him and they do end up friends

Oboro finds Effie weirdly calming, if not slightly terrifying, and the two have a very comfortable relationship working together and she enjoys the challenge of tailoring something for Effie

3. Sakura marries Leo and moves to Nohr (presumably, I'm open to alternatives). How do Sabuki and Hana get on with Leo? How do Niles and Odin get on with Sakura? And, wherever they're now living, how are they coping with the move?

Subaki

There is so much anxiety for Subaki between just the idea of Sakura being married, to her living in Nohr, to him living in Nohr- the need to be perfect spikes so hard for him (though fitting into Nohr in general isn't terribly hard for him even if he's always perceived as Other)

He is very judgmental of Leo, of the other retainers, of Nohr, but he does eventually finds Leo acceptable and while he never truly trusts Nohr to keep Sakura safe, he finds a way to live there

Leo finds he enjoys Subaki for his intelligence and ability as actual good company, though he's honestly perplexed over Subaki as well

Subaki actually finds Odin to be entertaining and they develop a rather quick friendship, for how reluctant Subaki is, and he actually respects Odin's ability- The relationship he has with Niles is always full of tension but there is a level of respect between them

Hana

Hana is 100% up in arms over moving to Nohr and becomes so protective of Sakura, which is slightly more than usual, and she is so side eyeing Leo and it takes her a very long time to feel comfortable in Nohr at all

She and Leo are never that close, but they do develop respect for each other and their connection through Sakura (and eventually Forrest)

Hana cannot deal with either Odin or Niles they are both just too much- she obviously prefers Odin as she accepts he's honest and there is up front kindness from him (and he's good with the sword? Like honestly, she's so mad) but does not want to have to keep up with his dramatics

She cannot with Niles- at first there was hostility between them because of differences of personality and Hana honestly didn't think she could trust him with Sakura but it at least evens out and she can trust him with the safety of Sakura at least (but she has punched him)

Niles

Niles honestly is amazed that somebody as sweet as Sakura exists and is also willing to marry Leo and live in Nohr- this does not stop him from teasing her- The teasing lessens when he watches her break a staff once in frustration (really, just the longer he knows her the more he reevaluates his first impression, much like Leo did)  

If they go to Hoshido, Niles only real problem is that he loses all his connections and the knowledge of the system, which makes it harder to function as a retainer, and the fact that Hoshido puts so much more emphasis on status- he struggles between the scrutiny and need to be abrasive

He's incredibly annoyed by Subaki at first, but they're able to build a sort of relationship of trust and acceptance, even if neither of them acts like it

Niles and Hana respect each other's abilities to keep their lieges safe, and that's absolutely it (he actually has no real opinion of personally in either direction)

Odin

He's so happy and so excited and honestly overwhelms Sakura at first, though they're both sweet people and their friendship is fast

If they move to Hoshido Odin is so excited and eager to see Hoshido (not in war) and to learn more about it- but he's actually very effected over leaving Laslow alone in Nohr (not that there's a better way, what with Selena then being alone in Hoshido)

Subaki only starts warming up to him when he realizes Odin was more than dramatics, but they were never antagonistic to each other (since being on the same side)

Hana has no idea what to do with Odin but doesn't hate him even if he tires her out and she challenges him a lot to sword duels (and is pissed a mage actually gives her problems if not outright wins sometimes)

How would an Aversa M!Morgan turn out?

Aversa struggles a bit as a mother, with guilt to overcome and the trust issues/paranoia that has kept her alive for so long, but she desperately loves her child (she's better at showing it if Morgan doesn't just show up basically full grown)

Morgan is the child of two incredibly talented, intelligent tacticians and it shows in how quickly and efficiently Morgan looks at problems- Morgan's stupidly smart and talented, especially in magic

While Morgan still has that happy, cheerful ease there is an undertone of cunning determination and ambition to them, as well as being unafraid to use pretty, attractive looks to get anything desired

Extremely loyal to loved ones, friends, or a cause, but develops a sort of cruel efficiency when dealing with anybody deemed an enemy of a sort

I hope this is okay. Can we have headcanons on Shigure comforting his fem S/O that had been through a really scary moment that left them paranoid or traumatized? I had someone try to break into my house once and I'm really paranoid to sleep.

I’m really sorry that happened to you, Anon. I’ve had similar things happen and it leaves a mark. I hope you’re doing better and finding a way to manage it, or better yet heal.

Shigure, knowing about trauma, tries to do what he can to help, especially in the form of validating your feelings

Tries to make sure you don't fall into a deep hole and stay connected with others, something that almost happened to him, and it's one of the few things he's willing to push on

Does what you need to feel safe again, be it checking the lock on a door four times, without complaint (most of the time, he's only human)

Gives as much affection and support afterwards in hopes of helping you feel better so you can begin healing from the trauma

2. XanderxHinoka: Hinoka marries Xander and moves to Nohr. How to Azama and Setsuna deal with the move and Xander? For that matter, how to Laslow and Peri get on with Hinoka?

Azama

Azama doesn't particularly enjoy Nohr, and it's not his favorite place, but it's as good as any other place really and eases into a life there as well

Does, secretly, take his job more seriously in that he doesn't feel like Hinoka is completely safe in Nohr

He has almost no patience for Peri and wants little to do with her and her childish antics, and when they do interact he puts his life on the line to antagonize her- Laslow is a little more fun to deal with and is reluctant to admit he actually kind of likes Laslow as a person

Azama isn't much nicer to Xander than he is anybody else, and there's a clear line drawn as he considers the King of Nohr in regards to how this effects Hinoka

Setsuna

Setsuna enjoys Nohr, even if she does miss Hoshido sometimes, and is as happy there as she is anywhere (and she becomes a bit famous in Nohr for the trouble she gets into, if not for her archery)

Setsuna is fairly intimidated by Xander, as aware of him as she is of anybody, but honestly finds she likes him when she gets to know him more and how kind he is to her and Hinoka

Setsuna and Peri are absolutely never on the same wavelength and it causes a strain between them, but it's never antagonistic- Laslow struggles to understand Setsuna and an odd friendship happens between them but Laslow enjoys her odd outlook

Setsuna generally doesn't change and takes Nohr with the same leisurely pace she does anything else, still determined to do what she can for Hinoka

Laslow

Laslow happily accepts Hinoka as queen and is thrilled to see peace happening between Hoshido and Nohr with the marriage (almot as much as he is seeing his liege happy)

He and Hinoka have a very bumpy start, given her abrasive attitude and his flirtatious one, but it evens out and there is solid respect between the two

Knowing what it's like to be so far from home he does what he can to be helpful to Hinoka

He gets along well with her retainers as well, as much as he does most people even if they're never outright friends

Peri

At first, she's rather upset to see Hoshido coming into Nohr, after all the blood that had been spilled and how much more could be, but she relents after a while (and seeing Xander happy helps that)

It's a bumpy start for her and all the others, Hinoka not liking her at all so Peri reacts in kind (or, tears) and Azama outright abrasive towards her she feels

It's very hard on Peri, in the beginning, with all the changes and how she feels unfairly persecuted in it all, and while it can even out it's never quite happy between her and Azama or Hinoka

Peri struggles with Setsuna, but it's never really bad it's just they both go about their business assuming the other is somewhere in the same book at least
