uh. this is a wip fic of an 80s movie called Overboard. frankly idk what possessed me to even begin this but there was too much tension between the romantic lead (complete asshole) and his best friend

“…Do we have the same classes?” Billy asked, and Dean didn’t look at him when he answered.

 “How would I know? You haven’t even started yet.”

 And that was… a pretty good answer, since Billy felt a little embarrassed he even asked. It was a dumb question. But he did reexamine the other kid in front of him. He seemed like trouble, looked like trouble, and if he looked close enough, he could see that Dean’s knuckles had healed scabs over them. Like he had punched someone, or something. He probably did.

but then again, if they aren't gonna bring up his family o n c e (this is why someday im writing an indulgent teddy fic abt that), then it isnt surprising that he'd have no reason to dislike the name. i could go on and on abt their characterization of him and more tbh hes such an interesting character to me (unsurprising)

right so- its by one of my fics, Presidential Chatfic, Because Why Not? no i never changed the name. and in a chapter (this is gonna sound insane btw), FDR was being bullied relentlessly by Herbert Hoover, and Hoover would send a photo of FDR in a pool in an american duck floaty. Now, that isn't real. But I edited a photo to look like one. And I thought hhmmm, how am i gonna show my readers this?? yknow like someone who doesnt use dropbox (ended up using dropbox). so i created an entire tumblr account for what i thought would be one post, the FDR duck floaty image (still pinned i think), and well. we see it ended up not being one post only. i also never linked my tumblr acc so i technically made this account to never be used.

i like this one. ill be honest i ship rarepairs more than i do popular pairs, so that already would make me not read a fic- no matter how good unless its a blorbo-centirc one- but there's certain things, like cheating, that make me avoid a fic completely. i know, plot and drama and lore and forbidden romance oooh, but my entire life ive just had some weird natural deep-rooted hatred for it. like. irrationally strong. and due to recent events, it's just been enforced.

so i can't read cheating fics that use the cheating to make the pair happen, or just generally fics w/ a pair i don't ship that's main. if it's side, i don't care much and might read it- but if it's main, i just can't.
