character design tutorial i did for patreon in september! i’ve been asked for a tutorial on character design for years and i finally figured out a way that didn’t feel like it was assigning specific values to specific shapes and colors. here is part of the style workshop streams mentioned in the intros. hope it helps! if there are typos i’m not fixing them so don’t try to tell me!

That ol’ chart of mine makes the rounds online periodically and it drives me crazy because it’s frankly not very good. So, I finally got around to remaking it.

I doubt this will get anywhere near as popular, but I wanted to make it.

I'm not one to kink shame really, but I think the fact that I've just passively heard a lot about spanking, choking, degrading speak, and similar in the context of M/F relationships

#like i know queer people also participate in that stuff and thats fine as long as everyone is consenting and enjoying it #but i just see it a lot y'know #idk it just feels like a lot of kinks are about enacting violence on my gender specifically and its uncomfortable to see #falcons thoughts

A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.

Been needing to fight art block this week so: did my own take on the hazbin characters, primarily just slight alterations to the originals

Notes on the changes under the cut because the process was cool

- Nifty, Angel, and Al all got more time period accurate clothing (I'm big into 30s/40s fashion so I wanted to represent that in their designs)

- Charlie got horns as a reference to her mom's old design because I like it, and her outfit has a warmer pallet and more "royal look"

- Husk got a shirt. That's it my boy is perfect

- Angel got a "darker" feeling color pallet as a nod to his pretty dark backstory

- Vaggie got more combat practical clothing and more dull tones
