My fudanshi friend got a boyfriend and is in the honeymoon phase so much that they haven’t replied to anyone’s texts in over a month.

We know they’re still doing well because they’ll post stories on instagram and Snapchat, but they’re not responding to any of us friends which is totally fine and to be expected at the start of a new relationship.

The only problem I have right now is that they are my only friend offline with whom I can share fics, comics, videos, and thirst trap art/edits without being judged harshly. So now I’m sitting here with a whole list of links and memes and essays typed out in my notes waiting for them to respond so I can send the next thing to freak out about.

I need more fujoshi/fudanshi friends offline…

I don't know about other writers but the "Please update" comments makes me feel rushed and why I hate them.

Sometimes, I do have trouble continuing a story, life happens or get into other interests. But I rather take my time with a chapter so I can put put a good chapter than to just update a chapter being some reader wants a new chapter right away and put out a half-assed one.

Like, I write for free. It's a hobby. I actually don't mind it if someone loses interest in a story of mine because I'm not getting paid for it and it's just fanfiction.

But I do mind is getting rushed on a craft that I should be enjoying.
