Hiya! I’m bored so let me discuss how I personally think the whole “Electric Soldier Porygon got a unreleased English dub” rumor doesn’t make sense

You may be wondering how some people could think that this ever did get a English dub since it’s widely known that this episode was banned after it being aired once but here’s the thing multiple actors on the original 4kids dub have either claimed they did dub it or they didn’t know if they dub it causing this rumor to be born

With this rumor going “that this episode was edited for this english dub version” but it wouldn’t really make all that sense since the English dub of the series began airing in 1998 a whole year after the original incident so like I doubt that Nintendo or 4kids would be so comfortable producing a edited English dub just in case it would’ve the same outcome despite being edited plus it would just look bad for them

With the actors part I’m pretty sure they did hundreds of recordings during their time on the series so like they either have this dub mixed with something else they dubbed for the anime or just simply forgot dubbing parts of the show leading to them thinking they did while in reality they didn’t
