“What do you want, Max?” Lewis asked with an exasperated laugh.  “Do you have plans for this evening?”  Lewis laughed again before he could think better of it. Max Verstappen was one of the weirdest guys he had ever met. There was a time when Lewis thought Max was the worst thing to ever happen to him, his mortal enemy that had stolen all the best parts of his life, but... it had been years since 2021. It was easier to be objective now. Max had never been the problem. But that didn’t mean they were on a food-sharing level of friendship.  Lewis reached out and picked up a nacho, finally answering his question. “You’re looking at them, mate.”  “Perfect,” Max said, then waved someone over behind Lewis’s head.  Lewis was even more confused than before; this definitely had to be a prank of some sort. A heavy hand gripped his shoulder before Lewis could even turn around to see who it was, making his fight-or-flight instincts flare up inside him. He turned his head to see who it was and was relieved when it was only Charles.  Lewis let out a sigh of relief. “Hey, man.”  “Hello, Lewis,” Charles said with a warm smile, pulling the chair out next to him and sitting in it. Lewis watched him get situated in the chair. Charles smiled at Max before making eye contact with Lewis again. “Oh! I love nachos—do you mind?” Charles asked, fingers poised to grab one off the plate but waiting for permission. Because he had manners, unlike Max Verstappen.
