Let Them All Talk (2020)
Date watched: 12 December 2020
Look, I only watched this because of the cast, but mostly because it’s set on the Queen Mary 2.
And I just wanted to reminisce about my cruise on the grand lady - it was nice to see her again. I really wish we’d had Meryl Streep’s stateroom.

The Witches (2020)
Date watched: 1 November 2020
I liked this?
Like, I’d watch Anne Hathaway do literally anything, so...
I loved the book when I was a kid and I always liked the original movie (though I haven’t seen it in a long time). I liked the switch from a British seaside resort to one in America, and I LOVED Octavia Spencer.
I mean, yeah - this was a nice update? I didn’t hate it.
I mean Anjelica Huston though...
God, what a babe.

Seeds of Yesterday (2015)
Date watched: 31 October 2020
10/10
I mean, obviously there are problems, and I’m pretty sure Christopher actually drove off a cliff rather than being hit by a car McDreamy style on the side of the road, but that’s okay.
Honestly, I love this book. I know it’s fucking ridiculous but it appeals to my undying love of DRAMA, of which there is so much.
I mean say what you will about VC Andrews but the bitch could write some fuckin’ family drama is all I’m saying
Cindy though
Like contain yourself girl
He is MENTALLY ILL
I love that he’s fucking Jory’s pregnant wife the whole time, it’s great. And then he ditches her ass the first chance he gets.
Such a psychopath
Not sure why they didn’t just FUCKING LEAVE?
this gif is relevant to my interests

If There Be Thorns (2015)
Date watched: 17 October 2020
10/10 - perfect casting for creepy Bart, like absolutely nailed it
This was always my least favourite book in the series, because it’s basically horrible people brainwashing a kid and ruining the rest of his life, so yeah.
There’s a lot of emphasis on how wrong the relationship between Chris and Cathy is and I’m not an apologist for that, but like, they were both consenting adults at this point and they’re not hurting anyone, so I’m like, what’s the fucking problem exactly?
Like I know it’s wrong, but there are extenuating circumstances. And they do genuinely love each other, so...
Also there’s a lot of sex going on in this house and nobody closes their doors?
Maybe close your doors, guys. Just a thought.
I can’t find any gifs so here’s Heather Graham:

Petals on the Wind (2014)
Date watched: 17 October 2020
I mean I could list all the ways this is different from the book (they entirely cut out Cathy and Paul’s extremely creepy relationship for one - HE SLEPT WITH HER WHEN SHE WAS UNDERAGE AND THEN ENDED UP MARRYING HER BEFORE DROPPING DEAD OF A HEART ATTACK), and I could talk about how her grand revenge plan was to fuck her way back into Foxworth Manor, and I could talk about how they completely diminished her career as a ballerina (she and Julian were like the top of their game in the book), and I could talk about how Julian actually killed himself in the book, but...
All you need to know is that Heather Graham is perfection in this role and honestly this is so, so enjoyable.

Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
Date watched: 26 September 2020
I enjoyed this a lot. Bill & Ted’s Bogus Adventure is still my favourite of the three, but this was a nice addition to the trilogy.
10/10 would watch again

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009)
Date watched: 28 August 2020
This is a decent sequel, propped up by the cast - Amy Adams and Hank Azaria, who I will watch in almost anything.
I don’t have a lot to say - they’re easy movies to watch. Bill Hader stole every single scene he was in, and I mostly wanted to see this scene:
I BLAME TIKTOK.
