This year I have struggled with art and very nearly quit all together.

I have a long way to go to getting back to where I was when art was fun, good, and frequent. I’ve missed it.

Thought I would give it one good stab at it before the year was over.

Sketches of a ttrpg character I was super excited about. But the other players whined about her until I was uncomfortable playing her (and the horse she keeps alive by necromantic relic).

Nema was going to be SO cool. But it was not to be. An opportunity lost.

I remember being inspired by something when putting her "look" together, but I forgot what it was. It's been a while.

A picture of The Twin Tenno: Tsuki and Haru.

One can’t see, the other can’t hear. Together they See All and Hear All. They are seldom, if ever, seen apart. They speak and move as one. 

Higher Beings of my creative universe. Supreme rulers of the most “anime” part of the universe. Quite possible the biggest nerds there are.

I wanted to do a lot more with this, but it’s been open on my computer for almost a year. It was time to do what I could for it and move on.

So @lady-tempest is running a Swashbucklers of the Seven Skies game. (A kickass gm, by the way! I’m having a great time.) Progress so far on pictures of all the characters. Never have I ever used so many layers!

The game was hastily named Yohohoes … and it stuck.

Look at the Monkey!

Game character Kasai ran afoul of a monkey, then got revenge (the monkey is fine ... just exiled). The only victim was Kasai's mirrored sunglasses. It was a two-session shenanigan led by @lady-tempest. He had a great/terrible time.

Once upon a time, at least 11 billion years from now, there is a group of incredibly overpowered individuals who look over a vast kingdom. Each is given 30 degrees of the spherical kingdom to protect and look after.  From Left to Right they are: Lucky, Chinatsu, Akiko, Kaori, Kata, Jin, Hiro, Tsukiko, Kusari, Kodama, Ken, and Seiichi. This represents the earliest known picture of each of them. Some of these images were taken at very different times. Hiro and Lucky are just over 6 bill years old. Ken is 14,000-ish at most. They are, all of them, a cast of superpowered, teleporting, gremlin characters. I hate to love them as much as I do.  Not my most polished art. I just wanted to know what they looked like as kids. The follow-up will absolutely be what they look like as adults.
